You would like to reduce your working hours in order to study part time.

Write a letter to your boss. In your letter

• explain why you want to reduce your working hours
• say which hours you would like to work
• describe how your part-time studies would benefit your employer

Dear Sir,

I am writing to request you to reduce my working hours as I am planning to enroll myself in a part time course.

I have decided to enroll myself in an part time online course, after completing I will get a certificate that will help me to achieve better opportunities in life. It requires me to attend morning videocall calsses.

As I will attend morning classes I would appreciate if you can put me in for evening hours. The shift from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM would be the best option for me. I will make sure this course does not affect my performance in the daily tasks.

As this online course will help me learn more skills which will also help the comapny in the long run as I would develope more advance tecniques to takcle problems and will help me in time management as well.
