Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task: explaining the reason for the request, specifying the desired hours, and describing the benefits to the employer. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, although the opening 'Dear boss' is slightly informal; 'Dear [Name]' or 'Dear Manager' would be better. The ideas are relevant and clear, though the development could be more sophisticated. For instance, the explanation of how your studies benefit the company is a bit brief. Overall, you have fulfilled the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter follows a logical progression, moving from the request to the details and finally the benefits. However, the paragraphing is weak; the entire body of the letter is presented as a single block of text, which makes it harder to read. You use some cohesive devices like 'Therefore' and 'Not only this', but the flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing and punctuation errors. To improve, ensure you use clear paragraph breaks to separate the introduction, the main body points, and the closing statement.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to convey your message, such as 'enrollment letter' and 'industry'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'stretagies' instead of 'strategies' and 'realated' instead of 'related'. Additionally, the phrase 'requesting regarding' is grammatically incorrect. While your meaning is clear throughout, the vocabulary is somewhat basic and lacks the precision required for higher band scores. Focusing on correct spelling and more natural collocations will help improve your score in this area.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text, including issues with verb tenses ('I am working here since 2 years'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. For example, 'i was trying for this course approval since last 2 months now i am got enrollment letter' is quite fragmented and contains multiple errors. You rely heavily on simple sentence structures, and the punctuation is inconsistent, particularly with the use of commas and capitalization of 'I'. To reach a higher band, you need to work on complex sentence construction and ensure consistent control over basic grammar rules.
