I am thinking to work on afternoon shift and in the morning, I will attend class from cooking center which is 2 km far from our restauarnt.

It is undeniable that I learnt various dishes from your restaurant when I joined here. However, this diploma offers different gerne of foods worldwide. Therefore, if I complete this course than we can upgrade our menu with various dishes such as, Asian , American and so on. This approach leads to incline our sales, and restaurant will become famous in customers.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter addresses all three bullet points: the reason for the request, the preferred hours, and the benefits to the employer. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the desire to study, the explanation of how your studies would benefit the employer is slightly repetitive and lacks professional depth. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter, though some phrasing is informal or awkward, such as 'tell about my future plans'. To improve, ensure that your arguments are more clearly linked to the employer's perspective, focusing on how your new skills will specifically add value to the business operations.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is logically organized into paragraphs, each addressing a specific requirement of the prompt. You use some cohesive devices like 'However', 'Therefore', and 'Actually', which help the flow of ideas. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly unnatural. For instance, the transition between the reason for studying and the proposed shift hours could be smoother. The paragraphing is sufficient, but the overall progression of ideas could be more sophisticated. Ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence to guide the reader through your request more effectively.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. You rely on basic terms like 'study', 'work', and 'cooking'. There are also some noticeable errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'cuntries' (spelling), 'gerne' (genre), and 'incline our sales' (increase our sales). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they do limit the professional impact of your letter. Expanding your vocabulary to include more specific business and culinary terminology would significantly enhance your writing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'need I want to study', 'if I complete this course than we can', and 'look after on my request'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement and spacing. While the meaning remains clear despite these errors, the frequency of mistakes in basic sentence construction and verb tense usage prevents a higher score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and refining your use of complex sentences will help improve your accuracy.
