Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

The letter successfully addresses all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly explain the reason for the request (a project management course), specify the desired working hours (7:00 AM to 11:30 AM), and describe the benefits to the employer (taking on new challenges and assisting with report reviews). The tone is appropriate for a formal request to a manager. To reach a higher band, you could expand slightly on how the specific skills gained from the course will directly improve your efficiency or contribute to the company's upcoming projects, as the current explanation is a little brief.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0

The letter is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a closing. Each paragraph focuses on a specific aspect of the request, which helps the reader follow your argument easily. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Therefore', 'as', and 'After gaining this certificate' to link ideas. However, the flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that transitions between sentences are smoother. The paragraphing is appropriate for a formal letter, and the overall structure is clear and easy to follow.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, such as 'commence', 'professional career', and 'certification'. However, there are some minor errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'massage' instead of 'message', 'full-fill' instead of 'fulfill', and 'employ' instead of 'employee'. Additionally, the phrase 'update it when it's require' contains a grammatical error in the verb form. While these errors do not impede communication, they indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a broader range of precise vocabulary to reach a higher band.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is appropriate for this task. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I will ready to take' (missing 'be'), 'needs to be reviewed' (subject-verb agreement with 'projects'), and 'thank you for attentions' (should be 'attention'). Despite these errors, the meaning remains clear throughout the letter. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and ensuring that auxiliary verbs are used correctly in future tense constructions. The punctuation is generally accurate, though some minor slips occur.
