Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points required by the task. You explained your motivation for studying, specified your preferred working hours, and outlined the benefits to your employer. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a manager. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation of how your studies benefit the employer is a bit repetitive and lacks specific detail regarding the skills you will acquire. To improve, try to provide more concrete examples of how your new knowledge will directly contribute to the company's goals or specific projects.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter follows a logical structure with clear paragraphing. You use some cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Consequently', and 'not only... but also' to link your ideas. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing, such as in the final paragraph where the transition between your studies and your eligibility for a position feels slightly disjointed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear, singular focus will help your writing feel more cohesive and professional.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for this task, using terms like 'professional', 'eligible', and 'cooperate'. However, there are several spelling errors ('carrer', 'pessionate', 'proffesional', 'benifical') and some awkward collocations, such as 'do work in morning hours' instead of 'work morning shifts'. To reach a higher band, focus on accurate spelling and using more precise business-related terminology. Expanding your vocabulary to include more sophisticated synonyms for common words will also help you express your ideas with greater clarity and impact.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally affect readability. Issues include incorrect verb tenses ('I had my Bachelor's degree' instead of 'I have'), subject-verb agreement, and punctuation errors, such as the unnecessary comma after 'that' in the first sentence. While your meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors prevents a higher score. Focus on proofreading your work to catch basic tense and agreement mistakes, and try to vary your sentence structure by using more complex clauses correctly.
