You would like to reduce your working hours in order to study part time.

Write a letter to your boss. In your letter

• explain why you want to reduce your working hours
• say which hours you would like to work
• describe how your part-time studies would benefit your employer

Dear Boss,

I hope this letter finds you in well spirit. I would like to request to cut down my working hours.

As, I've decided to continue my further study in Marketing. Therefore, I've to attend my classes from Morning to early afternoon, and I would need some time to finish my assignments as well. So, i would like to reduce my working hours for temporary period.

If possible, could you please shift me in afternoon shift from 5.00 to 11.00 pm. In this way, I would be able to manage both my studies and work without giving any hard time to management by quiting my job all of sudden.

I'm hoping ,I would have comprehensive knowledge of different strategies of marketing, once I will have been completed my course. This information, I can share at my work place as well, which would for sure enhance the sale of the company.
