Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The letter addresses all three bullet points of the prompt: explaining the reason for the request, specifying the desired hours, and outlining the benefits to the employer. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal request. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the benefit of filling a retiring operator's role, the explanation could be more persuasive by highlighting how your new skills will specifically improve productivity or safety. The structure is clear, and the purpose of the letter is immediately apparent to the reader.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter follows a logical progression, moving from the introduction to the request, the proposed schedule, and finally the benefits. Paragraphing is weak, as the entire body of the letter is contained in a single block, which makes it harder to read. While you use some cohesive devices like 'Additionally' and 'So because of that reson', the flow is occasionally interrupted by awkward phrasing. Using more varied transition words and breaking the text into distinct paragraphs for the request, the schedule, and the benefits would significantly improve the overall structure and readability.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You have an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using industry-specific terms like 'CNC machine', 'lathe machines', and 'skill trade certificate'. However, there are several spelling errors ('compny', 'oprator', 'besic') and some awkward word choices, such as 'manufacturing crash course' or 'fully available'. While these errors do not prevent the message from being understood, they do indicate a need for more careful proofreading and a wider range of precise vocabulary. Focusing on correct spelling and more natural collocations will help you reach a higher band score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The letter contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('an machine operator', 'the school'), verb tenses ('I will learning'), and punctuation. Some sentences are run-on, such as 'I know that one of the opratoe is retiring in next three months that's why I would like to apply for that also it is helpful to you as well you do not need to find someone for that.' These errors occasionally impede the flow of the text. Improving your control over sentence boundaries and basic grammatical agreement is essential.
