Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter to inform you about the changes in my working hours. I have recently enrolled in a part-time course at the Stephens college.

My lectures are between 8.00 am and 1.00 pm. Hence , I would like to reduce my morning shift hours so I can comfortable attending the classes. Additionally, after spending 5 hours in college I would require some additional time to rest and prepare my meal.

I would like to work the evening shift from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm. Starting at 4.00 pm will give ample time to relax and regain my strength for working till the closing hours. I would like to follow this schedule for the next 6 months and after completing the course I will be available to work full-time again.

I opted for the Artificial Intelligence course in the college. This couse will not only be beneficial for my future growth but I will also be able to help the robotics team to deliver projects swiftly. As our company is planning to hire a permanent Machine learning engineer by the next year, I can take up that role. This will help company to save the hiring cost and time.
