Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address all three requested points: you explain that you have enrolled in college, request a three-day working week, and mention how quality-testing studies could help the company. The purpose of the letter is clear, and the details about your current schedule and classes make the request relevant. However, the employer benefit is only briefly explained: the reference to sending samples to another industry is difficult to follow, so the practical value of your new knowledge is not fully clear. The requested working hours are also given as days rather than specific hours, despite the prompt asking which hours you would like to work. Explain how your training would improve testing at work and state a clear proposed schedule.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5

The letter has a recognisable structure, with separate paragraphs for your reason, proposed schedule, and employer benefit, followed by a closing. This helps the reader identify the main points. However, progression within and between some paragraphs is uneven, and the repeated request to “accept my letter” does not clearly connect the ideas. The sentence beginning “Because every time while testing of sample” is especially hard to follow, and “so I request to accept my letter” repeats information rather than advancing the explanation. Use clearer links between your studies, the schedule you propose, and the benefit to the company. A more direct closing request would also make the letter flow more naturally.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the basic purpose of the letter, with relevant terms such as “working fulltime,” “class,” “studies,” and “Quality Testing.” However, the range is limited, and several word choices or collocations are inaccurate or unclear. “Accept my letter” does not naturally express a request for reduced hours, while “further growth” and “help me my further growth” are imprecise. Spelling and form errors such as “concentarted” and “fulltime” also affect the overall impression. Choose more precise workplace language, such as “approve my request,” “professional development,” and “apply my training to improve the testing process.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple sentences and longer clauses, for example, “I would like to reduce my work load, so that I can…” and “which not only help me…”. However, the range is limited, and errors in sentence construction and agreement occur often enough to make some parts difficult to understand. Examples include “I am Kamal Singh from Quality department,” “I have class for 4 days,” and “which not only help me… but also, it help the company.” The sentence about testing samples is also incomplete or awkwardly structured. Practise articles, subject–verb agreement, and complete clause patterns; for instance, write “The course will help me develop professionally and will also benefit the company.”
