Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three requested points: you explain that you have begun business-management studies, propose working from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon, and describe skills that could support your team-leader role. The purpose is clear and the tone is generally appropriate for writing to a manager. The benefit to the employer is relevant, but it would be stronger with a specific example of how improved management or communication would help your team. The proposed schedule also needs clarification because your course runs Monday to Thursday, yet you say you are available from Thursday evening; stating exact start and finish times would make the request more practical. These details keep some parts less fully developed, although the main task is covered.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter has a clear overall structure: the opening states the request, the following paragraphs explain your studies and availability, and the final body paragraph describes benefits to the company. Connectors such as “To begin with” and “Furthermore” help signal the stages of your message. However, some links are mechanical, and the relationship between the course schedule and your proposed working hours is not fully clear. The sentence beginning “The course I have taken” also interrupts the flow because it is not connected smoothly to the preceding idea. Use clearer references and transitions, and group each point in a focused paragraph, so the progression feels more natural and precise.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “business management,” “professional skills,” and “team leader role,” so the reader can understand your purpose and the benefits you anticipate. There is also an attempt to use more formal language, such as “express my request” and “beneficial.” However, several spelling errors and awkward word combinations reduce accuracy and naturalness: “becasue,” “couses,” “grab some professional skills,” and “good achievement score.” Some phrases are also repetitive, particularly “course” and “skill.” Choose more conventional collocations and check spelling carefully; this would make your vocabulary more precise and professional while retaining the relevant range you already show.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including a relative clause in “skills … which is … help in my team leader role.” The message remains understandable, but some sentence structures and grammatical relationships are inaccurate. For example, “The course I have taken which can help me” is an incomplete sentence, while “I am requesting to you” uses an incorrect pattern after “request.” In “I can available to work,” the verb form is missing, and “which is … help” does not form a correct clause. Review clause construction, verb patterns, and agreement, and use a final proofreading pass. More consistently accurate sentences would make your request easier to follow.
