Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 4.0

You give a reason for wanting to study: a training course is starting locally, and a gift card reduces its cost. You also mention that classes run for two hours each evening. However, the request to reduce your hours is not clearly stated as a specific arrangement: you say you currently work nine hours but do not say how many hours you want to work or which hours you propose. The benefit to your employer is only implied in “see our company on next level”; explain how the course will improve your work or the company’s services. The response is also 20 words below the required minimum, leaving these key points underdeveloped. Overall, the task is addressed only partially; add a clear request and develop each bullet point.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 4.5

The ideas are presented in a broadly understandable order: you introduce the request, explain the course opportunity, and mention its schedule. The opening and closing also make the response recognisable as a letter. However, the body is one block, and the connection between your personal study and the employer’s benefit is not made explicit. For example, “Luckily i got a gift card” moves directly to the course providers without explaining why this matters to your work arrangement. The letter also lacks a clear progression from the reason, to the proposed working hours, to the benefit for the company. Use separate paragraphs for these points and link them with clear transitions such as “I would therefore like to propose…” and “This training would enable me to…”.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use some vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “part time study,” “training,” “classes,” and “company,” so the main topic is generally clear. There are also attempts at more specific expressions, such as “gift card” and “famous companies.” However, the range is limited, and several spelling errors—“writting,” “travle,” “traing,” and “responce”—make the letter less polished. Some phrases are unnatural or unclear, particularly “working on manager post” and “make our company best in the city.” Choose more precise workplace language and check spelling carefully. For example, describe the course as professional training and explain the practical skills you expect to gain, rather than relying on broad claims about the company reaching the “next level.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

Most sentences use simple structures, and the reader can usually follow the basic message. You also attempt a longer sentence to explain the course opportunity, beginning “There is … training company going to start training from next month,” but its structure is difficult to follow. There are recurring problems with articles and sentence construction, as in “I am working on manager post,” and with capitalization of “i.” The phrase “They take classes for one month everyday 2 hours in evening” also needs clearer grammatical relationships between duration, frequency, and time. Use complete, controlled sentences—for example, “The course will run for one month, with two-hour classes each evening”—and vary sentence patterns only when you can maintain accuracy.
