Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three requested points: you explain that returning to university makes it difficult to combine study and work, propose working full shifts on Mondays and Wednesdays and later shifts on other days, and describe how business and management studies could improve your work and sales. This gives the letter a clear purpose and relevant content. The proposed schedule is useful, but the exact arrangement could be stated more precisely, especially which hours you would work on Mondays and Wednesdays. The benefit to your employer is also less developed: explain more specifically how your studies would help you perform particular duties or contribute to the business. These details would make the request more fully supported.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter follows a sensible overall order: you introduce your request, explain your study commitments, set out a proposed schedule, and then describe the potential benefit to your employer. Paragraphing helps the reader identify these stages, and the closing is appropriate. Some links between ideas are less clear, however. For example, “on other days” does not specify which days, and the long sentence beginning “So I am available” combines several schedule details without clearly separating them. The transition from your university hours to your proposed work pattern could also be more explicit. Use clearer sequencing and refer to the days and shifts consistently to make the progression smoother.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use relevant vocabulary for the situation, including “working hours,” “part time study,” “assignments,” and “business and management,” so the main message is understandable. However, the range and control of word choice are limited, and several noticeable spelling, word-form, or collocation errors make the letter less natural. Examples include “schedule break,” “productivity,” “boosts the sales,” and “fainancially.” Some expressions are also imprecise, such as “handle to work efficiently.” Choose more natural phrases for the intended meaning and check spelling carefully. More precise workplace vocabulary would help you explain how your studies could benefit the employer.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and longer sentence forms, and the reader can generally follow your request. However, errors occur frequently in verb forms, agreement, and sentence construction, sometimes making the meaning harder to process. For example, “I want to reduced” should use the base form after “want to,” while “I have to join my university again to continues” needs a consistent verb form. In “If I working same hours it affects,” the conditional structure is incomplete, and “My schedule break are” has an agreement problem. Practise building accurate sentences with “if” clauses and modal verbs, and check that each sentence has a clear subject and correctly formed verb.
