Student answer (Band 5.5)
The statment given is true and i agree with the statments as now-a-days everything is getting socialized we go to a place we send snaps to our friends and family the reason behind this is the show-off culture that's trending.
I have seen people they go to attractive places but rather than enjoying a positive vibe of that place they are busy sending/ clicking pics of themselves because they need to upadte it on instagram or facebook to show it to other peole once they recive many likes or comments on that post they think they have enjoyed the place but if we gonna ask something like what's the specialty of that place they wont be able to answer because they never explored that place and they narrowed their trip to just pics and videos.
As travelling is very important we come to know about the diffrent places we can learn about their culture, religion and many more, people who spend a lot of money go to the different places and narrow themselves clicking pics and making videos miss all these things sometimes its now possible to come back to the same place where you are right now. Being continously on the phoenreduce your time with the family as well and it starts creating distances in the own family.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address both questions: you identify social-media “show-off culture” as a reason and clearly judge the trend negatively, explaining that visitors miss a place’s culture and spend less time engaging with family. These are relevant points, but they remain under-developed: for example, you mention likes and comments without explaining why they motivate people, and the family-distance point is not illustrated. The response also does not meet the 250-word minimum, which limits the opportunity to develop and support your ideas. Add a specific example and explain the effects of this behaviour more fully, while keeping your position clear throughout.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.5
The response has a basic progression from the cause of the behaviour to its negative effects, and the paragraphs broadly separate these points. However, the overall development is difficult to follow because the second and third paragraphs contain several ideas joined into very long sentences. For instance, the discussion moves from taking photographs to social-media reactions and then to knowledge of a place without clear breaks. Linking phrases such as “As travelling is very important” signal a new point, but the relationship between ideas is not always explicit. Use shorter sentences, give each paragraph one main focus, and connect examples to the point they support.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
You use some relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “show-off culture,” “attractive places,” “likes or comments,” and “culture, religion.” This gives the reader a general understanding of your ideas. However, the range is limited and several word choices or spellings are inaccurate, such as “socialized” for the growing role of social media, “upadte,” “peole,” and “recive.” Some phrases are also imprecise, including “positive vibe” and “narrowed their trip to just pics and videos.” Aim for more precise, formal expressions and check spelling carefully. This will help you explain the trend and its consequences more clearly.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt to express connected and complex ideas, but the range of sentence structures is limited and errors are frequent enough to make some sentences difficult to read. The opening sentence joins several independent ideas with commas, while “I have seen people they go” has an unclear clause structure. There are also problems with verb forms and agreement, as in “if we gonna ask” and “they wont be able to answer,” and punctuation is often missing. Practise separating long sentences and using accurate subordinate clauses—for example, “I have seen people who visit attractive places but spend their time taking photographs.” Proofread for sentence boundaries and verb forms.
