Student answer (Band 6.5)
Nowadays, many indiviuals are visiting famous places to take their photos rather than enjoying the places. This trend is increasing because of social media and I think this is negative. In my upcoming paragraphs i will explain the reasons of this trend.
To begin with, first and foremost reason is social media. Many influncers just want to post the famous places to gain more views and followers. Because of this, they do not enjoy the place and just take the pictures. Secondly, people think if they visit famous destination that keeps their status in the society. As people want to prove that they visited the places and photography become the best way to show that they visit.
Moreover, people do not want to fell the fomo of missing out. As a result, they copy other people and travel the same place as other influncers and well- known people go. After going to that place their main motive is just to take the perfect picture to post. For example, I saw a cafe picture alot in my social media and many indiviual post the pictures of that place and I visited that same place just to take picture rather than enjoying the place and food. Along with this, smartphone also make easy to take high quality picture. So, people feel more easy to take picture rather tha exploring the place.
In conclusion, although photography make easy to remember the things, but it's disadvantage outwigh the advantage. People just visit the place to take photos and do not explore to know about the history of that places. I think government should need to take some actions to prevent this.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the opinion on whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media, status, and FOMO, the explanations remain a bit superficial. To reach a higher band, you should expand on the implications of these points with more depth. For instance, you could elaborate on how this behavior affects the preservation of historical sites or the psychological impact on the travelers themselves. The conclusion is brief but effectively summarizes your stance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'Secondly,' 'Moreover,' and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally repetitive. For example, the transition between the FOMO point and the smartphone point is a bit abrupt. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a strong topic sentence followed by supporting details will help improve the overall flow and logical progression.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific terms like 'influencers,' 'social media,' and 'status.' However, there are several spelling errors ('indiviuals,' 'influncers,' 'fell,' 'outwigh') and some awkward collocations ('fell the fomo of missing out'). To improve, focus on accuracy in spelling and using more sophisticated synonyms to avoid repetition. For example, instead of repeating 'take pictures' or 'visit the place' multiple times, try using 'capture images,' 'document their travels,' or 'frequent tourist attractions.'
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the' missing before 'famous places'), subject-verb agreement ('photography become'), and word forms ('smartphone also make easy'). Some sentences are slightly disjointed, such as 'As people want to prove that they visited the places and photography become the best way to show that they visit.' Focusing on proofreading for basic errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency will significantly enhance the quality of your writing.
