Student answer (Band 6.5)

In this technological era, it is rapid trend to tour the place to just collect their photos with place without even collecting information for the place. I will discuss reasons for these unknown visits and how it is impacted to individual's lives.

The major consequence behind this is to considering "Reel life" instead of "Real life". For instance, people are getting more and more indulged with social media because of this whatever they sees on this platform without taking initiative to know more about, They want to do exact same and upload. Secondly, is very hectic for people to sit for an hour to check about the place so most of them just pack their back and spend their vacation over the place with taking some selfies in order to collect memories.

It is undeniable that this trend has negatively affected to humans to ability to deep think. To begin with, Sometimes they are in huge trouble in some rural town. Where they can not find basic safety like police, cameras and so on because they did not gathered proper info for a spot not only these but we are also loosing a privacy because these folks can take photos at anytime at anywhere by ignoring surround. To explain this recent study shows that 30 percent of tourism place complains against other visitors by disturbing their privacy. we can not deny that they can save the memories of that time by taking photos but they should check around before taking.

All in all, There are couple of reasons behind this but it is impacted Badly to human rights.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The explanation regarding 'Reel life' vs 'Real life' is a good starting point, but the second reason (lack of time) is underdeveloped. The discussion on the negative impact is present, but the argument regarding safety and privacy is slightly disjointed and lacks clear logical flow. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific, well-reasoned examples and ensure your position on whether the trend is positive or negative is clearly stated and maintained throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'not only these but we are also' is used incorrectly, and the transition between ideas within paragraphs is sometimes abrupt. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as 'this' referring to broad concepts without a clear antecedent. While there is an attempt to use linking words like 'To begin with' and 'All in all', the overall progression of ideas lacks the fluidity required for a higher band score.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of awkward collocations and word choice errors, such as 'it is rapid trend', 'impacted to individual's lives', and 'tourism place complains'. These errors occasionally make the meaning slightly opaque. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'social media' and 'privacy', the range is limited, and the repetition of basic structures hinders the sophistication of the writing. Focusing on learning collocations and more precise academic vocabulary would significantly improve this score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'whatever they sees'), incorrect preposition usage, and awkward phrasing (e.g., 'it is impacted Badly to human rights'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage and sentence boundaries. While the meaning is generally clear despite these errors, the frequency of mistakes prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy and ensuring that complex sentences are constructed correctly.
