Many people travel to the famous tourist destinations primarily focus on taking pictures of themselves not for importance of the visiting place. I think this is because of social media influence and ..... I strongly believe this is positive trend as this enhances the development of local tourism industry.

One of the main reasons of this trend is the social media influence. Many individuals would like to take photograph and post in social media such as Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram for getting likes comments and shares. Their main attention is taking pictures and short videos not for looking at the historical importance or the natural beauty of that particular place. Another reason is making money. There are plenty of youtubers, their primary goal is earning money by visiting popular tourist destinations and making videos the way enjoy and promoting hotels and restaurants. Moreover, it will help them to gain popularity among their fan base.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the writer's opinion on whether it is positive or negative. The ideas are relevant, particularly the discussion on social media influence and economic benefits. However, the conclusion is incomplete, which impacts the overall development of the argument. While the position is clear, the supporting points could be more deeply explored to reach a higher band. The response is balanced, but the abrupt ending prevents a fully developed conclusion, which is a minor omission in terms of task completion.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices such as 'One of the main reasons', 'Another reason', and 'Furthermore' are used to guide the reader through the argument. However, the flow is occasionally hindered by minor grammatical errors and the incomplete final sentence. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the transition between ideas could be smoother. The referencing is generally clear, though the lack of a finished conclusion makes the overall structure feel slightly disjointed at the end.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express ideas clearly. There is an attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary such as 'tourist destinations', 'historical importance', and 'employment opportunities'. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'helps to growth' instead of 'helps the growth' and 'making those ppeoples life in a better way'. While the range is sufficient to convey meaning, it lacks the precision and flexibility required for a higher band score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, including issues with articles ('the local tourism industry'), verb forms ('it will help them to gain'), and pluralization ('those ppeoples life'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with missing commas in lists. These errors do not impede communication, but they are noticeable throughout the text. To improve, the writer should focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of prepositions.
