It is undeniable that in this modern era it become more common when people visit to the new place and taking photos. It has both pros and cons and I will discuss both in approaching paragraphs.

To begin with the merit to capturing the photos they wanted to capture the memory, people spend lots of money visit to the new place so they love to take their own picture which help them to recall the things that they had done during the trip. Moreover, social media such as facebook, whatsapp , snapchat or many more application has become more common among the youngster which assist them to stay connected with their near and dear ones, so they take the pictures of themselves and upload on the social media application on which they gets likes and comments on their post. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: why this is happening and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media and memory as reasons, the explanation of why it is a negative trend is more developed than the positive side. The conclusion is quite brief and does not clearly state your final position on whether the trend is overall positive or negative. To improve, ensure that your position is clearly stated in the introduction and consistently maintained throughout the essay, and provide more balanced development for both sides of the argument.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'Moving towards', which provide a basic framework. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and some transitions are slightly awkward, such as 'Moving towards the demerit of taking the pictures'. Additionally, the concluding paragraph is very short and lacks a clear summary of the main points discussed. Improving the use of linking words and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.5

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'undeniable', 'reputed', and 'dramatically'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and collocation errors, such as 'merit to capturing', 'giving their all attention', and 'keep their life on risk'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of your writing. To reach a higher band, focus on learning common collocations and using more sophisticated vocabulary in a natural way, rather than relying on basic phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include 'it become more common', 'visit to the new place', 'people go their', and 'everything thing has a positive and negative sides'. Subject-verb agreement and preposition usage are areas that need significant attention. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors prevent the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy, particularly verb tenses and pluralisation, will help improve your score.
