Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response is significantly under-length at only 74 words, failing to meet the 250-word minimum requirement. Consequently, the task is only partially addressed. The introduction presents a position, but the development of ideas is severely limited. The response stops abruptly after a single sentence of the first body paragraph, meaning the prompt's questions regarding why this is happening and whether it is a positive or negative trend are not adequately explored or supported. To improve, you must expand your arguments with specific examples and ensure you address all parts of the prompt in full paragraphs.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The text is too brief to demonstrate a clear logical progression or effective paragraphing. While there is an attempt to use a cohesive device ('Firstly'), the response ends before any coherent argument can be developed. The lack of a conclusion and the incomplete nature of the body paragraph make it impossible to assess your ability to manage cohesion over a full essay. To improve, focus on structuring your response with a clear introduction, two distinct body paragraphs with supporting evidence, and a concluding summary.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary used is basic and somewhat repetitive. Phrases like 'In today's time' and 'take the pictures' are functional but lack the sophistication expected at higher bands. There is an attempt to use more academic language with 'social awareness' and 'eye-opener', but these are not integrated into a meaningful context due to the brevity of the text. To improve, aim to incorporate more precise collocations and topic-specific vocabulary related to technology, tourism, and social behavior.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The response contains a mix of simple and slightly more complex structures. There are some grammatical issues, such as 'take the pictures from their phones of the places' which is awkward, and 'towards the social awareness and mankind', which is imprecise. While the errors do not completely impede communication, the limited length prevents a demonstration of a wide range of grammatical structures. To improve, focus on sentence variety and ensuring that your prepositions and article usage are accurate.
