Student answer (Band 6.5)
In the contemporary era significant amount of youngsters taking thier pictures at prominent tourist spots but they could not even discover those places properly. I would consider this issue as negative development.Thier are myraids of reason behind is such as , fear of missinng out effect and just to show of on social media are the primary one.
In current fast phasing time youth need everything in quickly and any cost of way, they are leaving in the social networking era where people can upload about their status on instagram, facebook, snapchat and whatsapp applications. Due to in this show off culture one phobia developed called fear of missing out which means they also want ot try the thing was done by their peers and also want to visit the places where other colleague reached in the previous weekend or on holiday. Which mentally gives stress to do this activity by yourself as well otherwise you can not stand in society. For instance the latest survey done by university of Waterloo says 70% of person bearely know about the destination's culture and history behind it , where they planned trip on last weekend. In spite of creating memory thier, they just clicked photographs of ownselves and missed the opportunity to connect with the nature and vibe of the place.
Furthermore, nowdays yongsters do not have interest in the history, artist and georpahic subjects. According to them personal fitness, makeup and outer look are paramount rather than educate own self with the nature and it's created beautiful world.
In conclusion, I would say it negative trend but commuters have to understand to live the life out from the social networking sites and enjoy the invaluble destinations trip not just by clicking own photos but do some videogrphy and make vlogs to awre about others to visit the places with the good purpose,

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the opinion on whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention the 'fear of missing out' and social media pressure, the explanation remains a bit superficial. The example regarding the University of Waterloo is relevant but lacks sufficient detail to fully support the argument. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is expanded with more depth and logical progression rather than just listing reasons.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'In current fast phasing time' or 'Due to in this show off culture'. There are also issues with sentence-level cohesion, where some transitions feel abrupt. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between ideas could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words more naturally. Paragraphing is present, but the internal logic within paragraphs needs to be more tightly controlled to ensure a smoother progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, including terms like 'contemporary era', 'prominent tourist spots', and 'invaluable'. However, there are frequent errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'thier' (their), 'myraids' (myriads), 'fast phasing' (fast-paced), and 'georpahic' (geographic). Some collocations are also unnatural, such as 'educate own self'. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are noticeable and suggest a need for more careful proofreading and a focus on correct word forms and spelling to reach a higher band.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there is a high frequency of grammatical errors. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('70% of person bearely know'), missing articles, and incorrect preposition usage ('at any cost of way'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement and spacing after periods. While the meaning is generally clear, the high density of errors in basic grammar and sentence construction prevents the response from reaching a higher band. Focusing on sentence structure and proofreading for basic grammatical accuracy will significantly improve your score.
