Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, but the development is inconsistent. While you identify reasons for the trend (desire for fame/vlogging), the argument regarding whether it is positive or negative is confusing. You label it a 'positive trend,' but your reasoning—that people visit places to learn history—contradicts the prompt's premise that people visit 'without looking at the place.' The ideas are somewhat contradictory, and the conclusion does not effectively summarize the main points. To improve, ensure your position is clear and that your supporting arguments directly address the specific behavior described in the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the logical progression is weak. The transition between the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive is abrupt. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'On the other side' and 'Secondly,' but they are sometimes used incorrectly or mechanically. Referencing is occasionally unclear, particularly in the second paragraph where the connection between vlogging and the prompt's focus on photography is not fully bridged. Improved use of linking words and clearer topic sentences would enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision required for higher bands. There is frequent repetition of basic words like 'people,' 'knowledge,' and 'information.' Some phrases are awkward or non-idiomatic, such as 'getting the knowledge about the locations' or 'put positive impact on this essay.' While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'influencer' and 'vlogging,' the overall range is limited. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more varied synonyms and collocations, and ensure that your word choices are contextually appropriate.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
There is a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. You frequently make errors with articles ('the more and more people'), subject-verb agreement ('there is most famous place'), and prepositions. Some sentences are grammatically fragmented or run-on, such as 'Nowadays most people are influencer they want to do the vlogging.' These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To improve, focus on basic sentence construction, ensuring that each sentence has a clear subject and verb, and pay closer attention to pluralization and article usage.
