Student answer (Band 5.5)
In today's world to technology, one can search diffrent tourist places around them to visit in thier vacations, which attracts individuals to click picture while visting that place and they did not look much around the place they visit only focused on taking pictures with well known attraction of that place. There are number of merits of this statement and drawbacks as well. In this essay both positive and negative aspects of above notion will be discussed along with my opinion in the conclusion.
Initiating with the positive side of the above statement. Firstly, it helps individuals to explore the new places around them and they will never get bored from visiting same place over the time. Secondly, it alows people to enjoy special movement while visiting the place and catching these memories in photoes with attraction place or building. For example, most of people visit Taj Mahal like to capture pictures with dome and in sceneric vice in their background so that in later years they can memorize those moments and feel happy. Last but not least, by visiting several places and geting portraits helps individuals to take off from busy work life schedule which helps them in refreshing their mind and release pressure on them.
Explaining negative effect of the same, it is true that most of people got focused on geting picture with the attractive place without intrest of knowing more about it which makes the visit useless sometimes. For instance huge number of people visit India gate in Delhi to take picture with it but never urge to know about history behind that building, why its built and by whome as a result people nowadays are less aware about such historical facts. Another negative impact is less intraction between local people and tourist also limits the cultural exchange between them.
In conclusion, I think it haves more positive development then the negative due to number of merits. Although there as some negative aspects also. But these can be mitigated by providing inforamation about building or place with the help of big information billboards at the entrance.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: why this is happening and whether it is a positive or negative trend. The position is clear, and the ideas are relevant. However, the development is somewhat superficial. For example, the explanation for why people take photos is limited to 'memorizing moments,' and the negative impact is restricted to a lack of historical knowledge. To reach a higher band, you should provide more nuanced arguments, such as the impact of social media validation or the 'commodification' of travel experiences. The conclusion is a bit repetitive, but the overall task requirements are met.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Firstly,' 'Secondly,' and 'In conclusion' to guide the reader. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is slightly unclear, such as 'the above notion' or 'the same.' The transition between the positive and negative paragraphs is abrupt. To improve, try using more sophisticated linking phrases and ensure that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence that connects back to the prompt more fluidly.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, but it lacks the precision and variety required for a higher band. There are several spelling errors (e.g., 'diffrent,' 'thier,' 'alows,' 'photoes,' 'inforamation') and some awkward collocations like 'sceneric vice' and 'take off from busy work life.' While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary, the range is limited, and the repetition of words like 'place' and 'visit' makes the writing feel somewhat simplistic. Focusing on synonyms and more precise academic collocations would significantly improve your score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('most of people got focused,' 'it haves'), article usage ('the dome,' 'the India gate'), and sentence fragments or run-on sentences. For instance, 'In today's world to technology' is grammatically incorrect. While these errors do not completely impede communication, they occur frequently enough to distract the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like pluralization and verb tense consistency.
