Student answer (Band 5.5)

In present time people have made traveling to the famous places just to click the pictures rather than exploring the attractivness of the location.

According to me this time is social time era which influence the people to be seen on the socail plateform than to be personal. It become very obious that people feel glad to share thier personal life experience on social media so they can find the opinion of the people on thier story and blogs.

Also , it is now helping many people to become famous by thier socail paleform as spme people represent thiers touring jourey in very delighted way,so people love to see thier stories on the social media stages which encourage people to expore the same sites.

It is absoultly a useful trend as it help the people to gather the information about the location and it can help other people to trevell tge same place. The other benifical thing about this craze that will help people to get famous in social media chennels and will pay them finacially which help them in thier spending.

Moreover , It is more common in these days that if you have giving reliable information about the venue people love to follow that page and it will help that page to become famous.

For example , there is a person named Mr. Smith who is exploring the world most dangerous place and make vidio of his servival on those difficult spot which make that chennel very popular where his show is podcasting.

In the end , I would apprieciate that style of exploring the charm of various venue with taking more and more picture which remiond tham the elegance of that specific places.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the writer's opinion on whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While the writer mentions social media influence and financial gain, the arguments lack depth and specific supporting evidence. The example of 'Mr. Smith' is relevant but does not fully explain why taking photos without looking at a place is a positive trend, as the prompt asks about the act of photographing rather than just content creation. The position is clear, but the supporting points could be more thoroughly explored to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For instance, the transition 'Also , it is now helping' and 'The other benifical thing' are somewhat repetitive and simplistic. There are issues with referencing, such as the unclear connection between the introduction and the body paragraphs. The flow of ideas is sometimes interrupted by awkward phrasing, making the progression feel disjointed at times. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring smoother transitions between sentences would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is limited and contains frequent spelling errors that occasionally impede readability, such as 'attractivness', 'socail', 'obious', 'thier', 'paleform', 'absoultly', and 'chennels'. The range of vocabulary is basic, relying on repetitive terms like 'famous' and 'people'. While the writer attempts to use some topic-specific language like 'social media' and 'blog', the lack of precision and the high frequency of spelling mistakes significantly limit the score. To improve, the student should focus on mastering common vocabulary and proofreading for spelling accuracy.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'It become very obious that people feel glad to share thier personal life experience' and 'if you have giving reliable information'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with frequent spacing errors before commas. Subject-verb agreement and article usage are problematic throughout the text (e.g., 'in present time', 'the social plateform'). The frequency of these errors is high, which impacts the clarity of the message.
