Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response is significantly under the 250-word minimum requirement, which severely impacts the ability to develop ideas. While the prompt asks for reasons and a position on whether the trend is positive or negative, the essay is cut off after only 85 words. Consequently, the response is incomplete, and the ideas are not sufficiently extended or supported. To improve, you must ensure you write at least 250 words by providing detailed explanations and concrete examples for each of your points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay attempts to use basic cohesive devices such as 'To begin with' and 'According to me', but the overall structure is incomplete due to the lack of length. Paragraphing is present, but the abrupt ending prevents a logical flow or a conclusion. To achieve a higher score, you need to develop a clear introduction, body paragraphs with topic sentences, and a concluding summary, ensuring that ideas are linked smoothly throughout the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'click pictures' and 'visit some places' are functional but lack the sophistication expected at higher bands. There are also minor errors in word choice, such as 'click pictures of their' (should be 'themselves'). To improve, try to incorporate more precise vocabulary related to tourism, social media influence, and personal behavior, and ensure you use pronouns and possessives correctly.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The response contains several grammatical errors that hinder clarity. For example, 'they are not visit the place properly' is grammatically incorrect; it should be 'they do not visit the place properly'. Additionally, 'because they influenced by social media' is missing the auxiliary verb 'are'. The sentence structures are simple, and there is a lack of complex grammatical forms. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of passive voice will help improve your accuracy.
