Student answer (Band 6.0)
The majority of people spend their crucial time visiting some random places for recreational purposes and mainly for photography, which is more famous nowadays. The statement relies on some positive and negative benefits of this activity. The statement will provide a negative trend given below.
To begin with, individuals are increasingly going towards social life and copying others' lives. Social media is the main reason for this notion. Many people see and follow the person on social media, which can make them popular. This is the main reason many people are selecting multiple places and decided to visit there. But in reality, they didnot check and know in depth about that particular place. For example, individuals only follow what they have seen on the internet and try to copy the content. The Times of India published that 60 percent of men and women are living only a fake life on the internet just to impress others. All in all, the internet has negatively destroyed individuals' lives
Moreover, the photography trend is becoming more famous. Children, youngsters, and older people are more indulged in photography. They put multiple pictures on social media and visit different places to click pictures and upload them on the internet. For instance, the dark reality is some how could be another one. The BBC News survey stated that many individual who seems happier on social media were not the same in reality. Children are suffering from mental disorders and depression. This notion resulted in a deep problem of this society, which shows something, but the things are unclear.
To conclude, visiting different places and clicking pictures are not a negative outcome, but the main idea is that going to a place only to impress someone's life is not a lucrative aspect.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for the trend and expressing a clear negative stance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. While you mention social media and the desire for popularity, the explanation of why people ignore the actual location remains underdeveloped. The examples provided, such as the reference to 'The Times of India' and 'BBC News', are generic and lack specific detail or logical connection to the core argument. To reach a higher band, you should focus on expanding your reasoning—for instance, explaining the psychological need for external validation versus the loss of authentic experience—rather than relying on broad, unsupported claims about 'fake lives'.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. You use basic cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Moreover', and 'To conclude' to signal transitions. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and the referencing is occasionally unclear. For example, the sentence 'The dark reality is some how could be another one' is disjointed and lacks a clear link to the previous point. Additionally, some sentences feel repetitive, such as the repeated mention of 'social media' and 'clicking pictures'. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence builds logically upon the last would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and flexibility required for higher bands. You rely on simple, repetitive phrasing such as 'more famous', 'main reason', and 'different places'. There are also some awkward collocations, such as 'negatively destroyed' (which is redundant) and 'lucrative aspect' (which is used incorrectly in this context). While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'recreational purposes' and 'mental disorders', the overall range is limited. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and ensuring that words are used in their correct collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('many individual who seems'), article usage, and awkward phrasing ('the things are unclear'). There are also punctuation errors and run-on sentences that affect readability. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of consistent control over complex structures prevents a higher score. You should focus on proofreading for basic errors and practicing the construction of complex sentences to ensure they are grammatically sound.
