Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for the trend and expressing an opinion. However, the development of ideas is limited. The explanation for why people take photos without looking at the place is somewhat vague, relying on 'reviews' and 'nature's beauty' without deep analysis. The argument that this is a positive trend is also underdeveloped; the connection between social media popularity and 'creating memories' is asserted rather than logically explored. The conclusion is repetitive and does not effectively synthesize the main points. To improve, you should provide more detailed examples and ensure your reasoning is clearly linked to the prompt's core question.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay is organized into paragraphs, but the flow between ideas is often mechanical and sometimes confusing. While cohesive devices like 'Firstly', 'In addition', and 'To conclude' are used, they are occasionally placed awkwardly or do not effectively bridge the logical gaps between sentences. For instance, the transition between the introduction and the first body paragraph is abrupt. The referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the sentence 'these things can restored even through others phone also', where the antecedent is ambiguous. Improving the logical progression of your arguments and using a wider variety of linking words would enhance the overall coherence.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and variety required for higher bands. You rely on basic phrasing and repetitive terms like 'well known places' and 'positive trend'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'the nature's beauty around that place' and 'Gen z kids are addicted to posting there pics'. The use of 'there' instead of 'their' is a recurring error. To reach a higher band, focus on using more sophisticated vocabulary and ensuring correct word forms and collocations, rather than relying on informal or repetitive language.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'it can leads to'), incorrect verb tenses, and missing articles. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with unnecessary spaces before commas and periods. For example, 'I visited Delhi after get to know' should be 'after getting to know'. While the meaning is generally understandable, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the writing from reaching a higher band. Focus on proofreading for subject-verb agreement and consistent tense usage.
