Student answer (Band 5.0)
Nowadays, photography is more popular as every third person know how to use the camera. It is why as advancement of new technology and new gradgets. I think it is the positive side and I will explain this more deeply in the upcoming paragraphs.
The reason behind why individuals are going out to take their own photos rather than cameraman is influence form their ideal one. To be more precise, there are so many vlogger now who earn good money from this. It is now more trending. However, it is also some people's hobby. For example, Lakhneet sharma who is famous vlogger have huge interest to capture their photo and he convert this hobby to their career growth and earn good money from this skill.
I personally feel that it is good trend. People do not want to hire to click their personal moments and will not harm own their privacy. By this people mind will also relax and capture their best moments and mood by their own self rather than to pay to other. It is not save the time but also save the money.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0
The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, reaching only 186 words. This significantly impacts the development of ideas. While you address the reasons for the trend and provide a personal opinion, the arguments are underdeveloped. For instance, the explanation regarding why people prefer taking their own photos lacks depth and specific examples. The prompt asks why people take photos without looking at the place, but your response focuses more on the general rise of photography and vlogging. To improve, you must expand your points with more detailed explanations and ensure you address all parts of the prompt thoroughly.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which is a positive start. However, the progression of ideas is somewhat disjointed. While you use some cohesive devices like 'However' and 'For example', the transitions between sentences are often mechanical or unclear. The referencing is occasionally confusing, such as in the second paragraph where the shift from 'vlogger' to 'Lakhneet sharma' feels abrupt. To reach a higher band, focus on using a wider range of linking words and ensure that each paragraph has a clear central theme that flows logically into the next.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for basic communication but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. You rely on simple terms like 'good money' and 'famous vlogger'. There are also issues with word choice and collocation, such as 'every third person know how to use the camera' (should be 'knows') and 'influence form their ideal one' (should be 'influence from their idols'). To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated vocabulary related to social trends and technology, and pay closer attention to word forms and collocations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'as advancement of new technology and new gradgets' (fragmented structure), 'there are so many vlogger' (pluralisation error), and 'It is not save the time but also save the money' (incorrect verb form). You rely mostly on simple sentence structures, and attempts at complex sentences are often inaccurate. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct pluralisation, and the proper use of conjunctions. Practising more complex sentence structures while ensuring accuracy will help you achieve a higher score.
