Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this modern world, because of extreme development of technology, it is considered by some people that the technical products such as tablets and laptops should be considered as a better option in the schools rather than the traditional books . There could be a several reasons behind this opinion; however achieving a worldwide knowledge only at one platform could be considered as an important factor. In my opinion, this can be a positive development with a balance approach.
There are plenty of positive reasons behind this approach. One of the most important reasons is that it is very convenient to use digital devices since they are portable and does not consume more space. For instance, phones and tablets, they are lightweight and can be accessible everywhere instead of the weight bearing books. Secondly, world-wide information is available on just one device. Student won't be required to collect a number of books for different information. Furthermore, the online platform is an asset for the kids. For example, during covid time, children used online portals as zoom for their studies. Therefore, technology indeed would provide numerous benefits to the children.
Of course, this approach also includes some negative developments as well. The overuse of these could cause a mental and physical stress to the children. Since there are enormous browser available on these devices, children can get a provoking and misleading information. Ten years ago, for instance, there was a popular shark gaming software which has caused numerous deaths of kids because of their dangerous challenges. Thus, in order to cope with this situation, parents needs to pay attention on their kids so they can use this technology in a safe way.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 2.0
The response is completely off-topic. The prompt asks about people visiting well-known places to take photographs without looking at the location, yet your essay discusses the use of tablets and laptops in schools. Because you have failed to address the task prompt entirely, this results in a very low score for Task Achievement. To improve, you must carefully read the prompt and ensure your ideas directly relate to the specific topic provided. Even if your English is clear, if the content does not answer the question asked, it cannot be awarded a passing band score.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is logically organized into paragraphs, and you use some cohesive devices such as 'one of the most important reasons', 'furthermore', and 'therefore'. These help the reader follow your argument, even though the argument itself is irrelevant to the prompt. You have a clear introduction and conclusion, and the progression of ideas within your paragraphs is generally logical. To improve, ensure that your paragraphing is used to support a relevant argument rather than just a general discussion.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'convenient', 'portable', 'accessible', and 'misleading'. There are some minor errors in word choice, such as 'enormous browser' (should be 'browsers') and 'provoking information'. However, the vocabulary is generally sufficient to convey your meaning clearly. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise collocations and less common academic vocabulary, ensuring that your word choices are always accurate in context.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, such as 'Since there are enormous browser available on these devices, children can get a provoking and misleading information.' There are several grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('phones and tablets... does not consume') and article usage ('a worldwide knowledge', 'a several reasons'). While these errors are noticeable, they do not generally impede communication. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of plural versus singular nouns.
