Student answer (Band 5.5)
In this modern era, this topic is getting more attention. As everyone know about the well-known places through social media. According to my perspective taking photographs of themselves at well-known places has both Prons and coins which will discussing in upcoming paragraphs.
Firstly, photos are becoming trend everywhere on specially on social media. This is the earning source for some social influencers. for example, they are posting everything about their trips from start to end they do not care where are they because they only focus on earning and getting everyone's attraction. Secondly, everyone can get knowledge from there vlogs and get information about their next trips which are planning for their future. Future more, tourism places would be great source of economy for the country as well.
On the other hand, they just post the pictures which can be create trouble for someone. For instance, middle class families want to go that places which are not affordable and they force their families to get there. They want to become like themselves and want to collect the pictures for their social profile. But those would be out of pocket for someone. Future more, tourism places become more polluted than before, and it enhance the traffic on roads. For example, In India there is a place known as Manali which is famous for winter season in India. When people usually travel over there which creates a traffic for local people.
In conclusion, everything has their own point of view it depends on their lives how they want to see them. And taking photos at famous places becomes good part of memory in life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for the trend and offering an opinion on whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat superficial. For instance, the argument regarding 'middle class families' and 'Manali' is a bit tangential and does not directly explain why people prioritize photos over the experience itself. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments lack depth and logical cohesion. To improve, ensure that each paragraph directly answers the prompt's questions with more focused reasoning rather than drifting into general observations about tourism or social media.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. For example, 'Future more' is used incorrectly as a transition, and 'In this modern era' is a clichéd opening. The progression of ideas within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed, particularly in the second paragraph where the link between influencers and the economy is not clearly established. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as the use of 'themselves' when referring to people wanting to emulate influencers. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words would significantly enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks precision and variety. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'Prons and coins' (pros and cons) and 'attraction' (attention). The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles with collocations. While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of sophisticated or topic-specific language limits the score. To reach a higher band, the student should focus on learning accurate collocations and avoiding spelling errors that stem from phonetic confusion, such as 'there' instead of 'their'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'everyone know'), incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'which will discussing'), and punctuation errors. The misuse of 'Future more' instead of 'Furthermore' is a recurring error. While the meaning is usually understandable, the frequency of these errors prevents the essay from reaching a higher band. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical slips would be beneficial.
