Student answer (Band 5.5)
The growing trend of taking photographs and to visit well-known places without research about that place has attracted considerable attention in recent years. In my perspective this represent a negative development. My inclination and reason about this well-elaborated in ensuing write-up.
The foremost reason of growing trend of visiting to famous place without looking to it that social media. Many people follows their influencers or youtubers. Many famous persons visited that place and they uploaded pictures in social media. So, individuals follow them specially youngsters. However, they even not to try to search about that place, location, accomodation or travel expense. Moreover, many people want to follow particular trend. If any location goes viral on internet they prefer to visit; whereas, human beings want to show their lifestyle too by visiting many famous places to show their followers not only this but they also do for likes and popularity.
The primary reason why I believe that this is a negative trend that many time this famous popular places become overcrowded by many people visiting. It is affect the local residents and increase the traffic too. Furthermore, sometimes children young children go to that particular dangerous place and put their life on a risk to take a photographs. Because, they want to set a trend by visiting famous places. After that, visiting just famous places also affect country's culture and history. Because if people just prefer to visit popular places so other places will be disappear after some times. It's affect economy too.
To recapitulate, nonetheless, visiting famous places is a good but putting life is in a dangerous danger it is not good trend. People visiting popular places to take a photographs and set a trend on social media but they also visit the other places of country.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the writer's opinion on whether it is positive or negative. The ideas are relevant, such as the influence of social media and the negative impacts on local infrastructure and safety. However, the development of these ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the point about 'disappearing' places is mentioned but not fully explained or supported with concrete examples. The position is clear throughout, but the arguments could be more nuanced to reach a higher band. The conclusion is a bit repetitive and does not fully synthesize the points made in the body paragraphs.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is an attempt to use cohesive devices such as 'The foremost reason', 'Moreover', 'Furthermore', and 'To recapitulate'. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as the transition 'To recapitulate, nonetheless'. Additionally, some sentences lack smooth flow due to grammatical errors, which occasionally disrupts the progression of ideas. Referencing is generally clear, but the connection between sentences within paragraphs could be improved to ensure a more natural and sophisticated flow of information.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. The student uses basic terms like 'famous place' and 'good/not good' repeatedly. There are attempts to use less common vocabulary, such as 'ensuing write-up' and 'overcrowded', but these are sometimes used in contexts that feel slightly unnatural. Collocations are occasionally weak, such as 'put their life on a risk' instead of 'put their lives at risk'. The range is sufficient to communicate the main points, but the lack of variety and occasional word-choice errors limit the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede readability. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Many people follows'), article usage (e.g., 'in social media' instead of 'on social media'), and incorrect verb forms (e.g., 'visiting to famous place'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar prevents the response from reaching a higher band. More attention to sentence construction and proofreading for basic errors is necessary.
