Student answer (Band 5.5)
In the recent times, most of the people are addicted to use social media. They like to take pictures of them and also the places as well. Additionally, many people are making vlogs even they are not seeing that is this good or bad for them. People are going with the trend. If they sees some places are good than they go their and do there vloging and taking photos. There are some negative and positives affects of that. I will explain to you in the upcoming paragraph.
To begin with, in the present time, people are using social media for earning the money. It is the main reason for this happening. Moreover, people like to taking there pictures in famous places because they want to make the vlog. The reason behind is that people are influnced by social media. Not only the adults, but also older people make there vlogs and taking pictures for earning. Even people are not seeing the place, but they only go withe the trend. This is the negative thing for them and they should visit the good and historical places.
On the other hand, I think taking pictures at famous places will be advantageous for them. The reason is that at present, many people are jobless. Indeed, some people do not want to do hard work. That is the reason that people are going the populer places for making vloges which is good things. Because in the present time, compared to doing hard, it is to make money by social media. People do not see that it is good place or not , but they only want to do some advtismnet because they are making money form it. Sometimes, they are doing promotions for some well places owner because through that, people will visit that places and they can earn money.
In my opinion, it is more beneficial for people to visit popular places even if it is not famous compared to disadvantage. In the recent time, people are getting more income through social media kind of this things, for example, go to the popular places and take the photos.
It will be beneficial for people to be employed by social media compared to unemployed.
To conclude, people should visit more and more places and try to know about that places as well. I think that if it is not famous still they should have to go there and make the income by social media. In the present time, people have to fulfill there lots of needs. So, if they go famous places and earn income, why they should not do that things.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive and lacks depth. For instance, the argument that people visit places solely for money is stated multiple times without exploring other psychological factors like social validation or the 'fear of missing out'. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments are underdeveloped and rely on generalizations. To reach a higher band, you should provide more nuanced reasons and specific examples beyond just 'earning money' to demonstrate a more comprehensive understanding of the topic.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'In the recent times' and 'To begin with' are used, but the transitions between sentences within paragraphs are sometimes abrupt. There is also a lack of variety in linking words, and some referencing is unclear, such as the use of 'that' or 'it' without a clear antecedent. The progression of ideas is present but feels somewhat circular, particularly in the third and fourth paragraphs, where the same points about money and social media are repeated.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is limited and often repetitive. You frequently use basic terms like 'good', 'bad', 'people', and 'things'. There are several instances of word-choice errors and incorrect collocations, such as 'doing hard' instead of 'working hard', 'well places owner' instead of 'business owners', and 'advtismnet' (spelling error). While you attempt to use some topic-related vocabulary like 'vlogs' and 'social media', the range is not sufficient to express complex ideas with precision. To improve, focus on learning synonyms for common words and practicing collocations related to travel and digital media.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow of reading. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('If they sees', 'people likes to taking'), article usage ('the popular places'), and sentence structure. There is a limited range of complex structures, and when they are attempted, they often contain errors. For example, 'Even people are not seeing the place, but they only go withe the trend' is structurally awkward. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. You should focus on mastering basic sentence construction and ensuring subject-verb agreement before attempting more complex structures.
