Student answer (Band 6.0)
Photography Trend is becoming so popular in todays Era. Plenty of historical places as well as different popular centers now becoming a photographical place instead of watch and gain knowledge about that perticular place. clicking pictures are more important for the todays generation rather than to gain important knowlege about that place. In this essay i will discuss both positive and negative trend of this thing and gave my opining for this trend.
Positive Side of this point will be the people who taking a picture of the historic sites they make memory where they are going with the family or partner. Additionally, they saw the pictures to there family members or friends, or there upcoming generation and store memories in there phone for the lifetime. also another important point is that they make a social media influence is also trending it make also a very positive impace on this. On going trend to becoming a share a post on instagram and other social media platefrom also becoming a influencing this trend. it is easy way to share your memories with you friends rather to just kept with you.
However, I believe that this trend becoming mostly negative, When tourist spend to much time to taking selfies they are fail to gain knowledge about culture, history and beauty of nature of that place.
They may also become distracted from people who traveling with them. Furthermore, Excessive Photography some time disturb other visitors. perticularly when people are blocking a viewpoints for taking a perfect picture.
In Conclusion, Social media and Smart phones are the reason for this trend for sharing memories and store them for there happiness at famous places, Although photography can help people remember their experiences, I believe that it is a negative trend when it prevents them from genuinely appreciating the places they visit.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear, particularly in the conclusion. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For instance, the discussion on social media influence is repetitive and lacks depth. The essay would benefit from more specific examples of how photography impacts the experience of a site, rather than general statements. While the task is addressed, the supporting arguments are somewhat superficial, which prevents the response from reaching a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Additionally', 'However', and 'In Conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'Positive Side of this point will be'. Additionally, there are issues with referencing; for example, 'this thing' and 'this trend' are used frequently, which can make the flow feel repetitive. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved to ensure a smoother progression of ideas.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'historical sites', 'social media influence', and 'viewpoints'. However, there are several word-choice errors and spelling mistakes, such as 'photographical place' instead of 'photogenic location', 'perticular', 'platefrom', and 'impace'. The range is somewhat limited, and the repetition of basic words like 'trend' and 'place' suggests a need for a wider variety of synonyms and more precise collocations to achieve a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'Photography Trend is becoming'), incorrect article usage, and punctuation errors. For example, 'they saw the pictures to there family members' should be 'they show the pictures to their family members'. There are also issues with word order and sentence fragments. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be noticeable and affect the overall fluency of the writing.
