In the technical era, majority of masses give preference to visit famous places in order to take their own pictures along with families without exploring the place where they go. In the upcoming paragraphs, I will not only discuss reasonable factors why this is happening, but also explains negative points of this trend.
There many causable effects are available why people take picture of themselves instead of looking place where they visit. The main reason is that people want to contact with social media. In the other words, it is noticed that nowadays, everyone uses social media in order to earning purposes. For example, Such as tiktok is the main platform where people posts their photographs with their families in order to take more views which can helpful them to earn more money for mass media. They use these picture as content to show their audience. The other reason is that people only show high living standard in community by these images.
Many negative factors of doing this are noticed. The first demerit is that People forget to socialize with society. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media and status as reasons, the explanation remains superficial. For instance, the link between 'earning purposes' and taking photos is mentioned but not clearly explained. The negative impact is identified as a lack of socialization, but the argument could be strengthened with more specific examples or deeper analysis. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully extended with clear reasoning and illustrative examples that directly relate to the prompt.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate. Phrases like 'In the other words' and 'To conclude it' are non-standard. Additionally, the transition between ideas is sometimes abrupt, such as the jump from social media to living standards. While there is an overall progression, the lack of sophisticated linking words and occasional awkward phrasing makes the flow feel disjointed at times. Improving the variety and accuracy of transition signals will significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward word choices and non-standard collocations, such as 'technical era' (instead of 'digital age'), 'majority of masses', and 'causable effects'. You also rely on repetitive phrasing, such as 'take their own pictures' and 'take more views'. While the meaning is generally clear, the limited range of vocabulary and the frequent errors in word choice prevent a higher score. Expanding your vocabulary to include more topic-specific collocations would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('There many causable effects are available'), missing articles ('Such as tiktok'), and incorrect preposition usage. Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and incorrect capitalization (e.g., 'People', 'tiktok'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to distract the reader. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, subject-verb agreement, and the correct use of articles before attempting more complex structures.
