Student answer (Band 6.0)
People visiting new places which are quite popular as of now this trend is increasing day by day. It adds to both the positive and the negative effects. I shall be discussing pros and cons of this new trend further.
In this era which is full of technology and social exposure people have got the full access to explore new places. Through social media one can find out which place is trending and what all you can explore about the place and even the nearby places too. Through lens of camera one can feel the aesthetics of that particular place and this trend is going viral like crazy.
Social media is no longer mode of entertainment only but it has started adding money to your poket as well. It has become an easy way of earnings. That is the reason people are visiting new places just to take photographs and to make videos and reels without actually being in a real situation. They forgot the actual meaning of entertainment and enjoyment. Moreover due to economic airfares it has become easy to visit nearby international countries.
Youngsters are much more into this trend and no doubt they are taking therir families along but in my perspective they have just limited their priority to the camera and social media. They actually miss the real fun because visitng more places frquently just for earnings will not give mental peace and even you will not be relax youself because social pressure will always there at the back of your mind.
For me it is a negative trend because people use to go on summer breaks for a week or two just to unwind themseles from their daily routine and to spend quality time with family and friends but now the scenario has changed. You cannot store that much of memories in your brain and even cell phones have got limited storage to store pictures. So in my op[inion the actual beauty of enjoying the new is to be fully involved into place and away from all the hustle and bustle life.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the opinion on whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear throughout, particularly in the final paragraph where you state it is a negative trend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media and financial gain as reasons, these points could be expanded with more specific examples or deeper analysis. The discussion on the 'negative' aspect is a bit repetitive, focusing heavily on the inability to store memories. To reach a higher band, ensure each paragraph provides a more thorough exploration of the 'why' and 'how' behind your arguments.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas from the introduction to the conclusion. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'Moreover' and 'In my perspective', to link sentences. However, the use of these devices is sometimes mechanical or slightly repetitive. Additionally, some transitions between sentences feel abrupt, and the referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between 'social exposure' and 'trending' could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would enhance the flow.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'aesthetics', 'hustle and bustle', and 'unwind'. However, there are several instances of awkward word choice and minor spelling errors, such as 'poket' instead of 'pocket', 'therir' instead of 'their', and 'op[inion'. Some phrases are also slightly unnatural, such as 'economic airfares' (which should be 'affordable airfares') and 'social pressure will always there' (missing the verb 'be'). To improve, focus on collocations and proofreading for common spelling mistakes to ensure your vocabulary is used with greater precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'people use to go' (should be 'used to'), 'you will not be relax youself' (should be 'you will not be relaxed'), and 'social pressure will always there' (missing 'be'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some missing spaces after commas and periods. While these errors do not impede communication, they occur frequently enough to prevent a higher band score. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of auxiliary verbs would significantly improve your accuracy.
