Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media influence and financial gain, the explanation remains superficial. The discussion on the 'negative' side is also slightly disjointed, moving from safety concerns in Antarctica to traffic issues in cities without a clear transition. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are fully extended with more detailed reasoning and clearer examples that directly support your position throughout the essay.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear introduction and conclusion. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'To begin with' and 'On the drawback side', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'gets stuck their without researching'. Additionally, the referencing is occasionally unclear, and the flow between sentences could be improved to make the progression of ideas feel more natural. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used with greater precision would enhance the overall coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'content creator', 'renowned', and 'crucial'. However, there are several instances of imprecise word choice and awkward collocations, such as 'hidden gems places', 'most amount of money', and 'keep information about'. These errors do not prevent communication, but they do limit the sophistication of your expression. To improve, focus on learning common collocations and using more precise terminology to convey your ideas more effectively rather than relying on general descriptors.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt to use complex sentences, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the Antarctic ice', 'in city'), subject-verb agreement, and preposition usage ('stuck their' instead of 'stuck there'). Punctuation is generally functional, but there are some run-on sentences that could be broken up for clarity. The errors are noticeable but do not significantly impede the reader's understanding. Increasing your control over complex structures and proofreading for minor grammatical slips will help you achieve a higher score.
