Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, many people like to visit well-known places to take photographs of themselves, without looking at the place. In my opinion, this is all because of social media, and I completely think this is a negative point.
First of all, most of the people visits new places because they have seen them on social media or else they are really trending places to visit. They just go there to click photos not to create memories, and later they post them just to show it to their followers. In addition, if any celebrity or famous influencer has ever mentioned some place or visited them people go crazy about them and just to get fame and attention from their followers, they visit the place specially with professional photographers.
Second of all, Many people just visit the places and they take out their phone to take photos and vidoes instead of enjoying the moment and the view. For example, people visit historical place and the only thiing they did their was just to take photo but it took many people to scalp that sculpture and make that building years but they don't appreciate them. For me its a total waste If we don't appreciate the art and the beautiful places.
However, I also think this is not completely negative. Photographs are the way to remember memories, if we look them in future they remind us about our happy moments and give happiness. But it should be used in appropriate way and in limits.
In conclusion, Although photographs shars wonderfull memoery for us but, I strongly think that social media and posting photos and stories on instagram and other social platforms plays an important role why people take photographs and dont enjoy the places.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat uneven. While the first body paragraph effectively links social media to the behavior, the second paragraph regarding historical sites is slightly repetitive and lacks depth in its explanation of the 'negative' aspect. The counter-argument in the third paragraph is brief and could have been better integrated into the overall argument to show a more nuanced perspective. Overall, the ideas are relevant, but some points could be extended further to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'First of all', 'In addition', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, some transitions are mechanical or slightly awkward, such as 'or else they are really trending places'. Referencing is occasionally unclear; for instance, in the second paragraph, the phrase 'it took many people to scalp that sculpture' is confusing and disrupts the flow of the argument. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the logical progression within the paragraphs could be smoother to improve the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing the writer to express their opinions clearly. There are attempts to use topic-specific language like 'trending', 'influencer', and 'appreciate the art'. However, there are instances of imprecise word choice and minor errors, such as 'scalp that sculpture' (likely meaning 'sculpt' or 'carve') and 'shars wonderfull memoery'. These errors do not impede communication, but they highlight a limitation in the range and precision of vocabulary. To improve, the student should focus on more accurate collocations and avoid repetitive phrasing like 'visit the places'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as subject-verb agreement issues ('most of the people visits', 'people go crazy about them and just to get fame'), punctuation errors, and spelling mistakes ('vidoes', 'thiing', 'shars'). Complex structures are attempted, but they often contain errors that detract from the overall accuracy. The control of grammar is sufficient to convey the message, but the frequency of errors prevents the writing from reaching a higher band level. More attention to proofreading for basic errors is recommended.
