Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, travelling well-known places without knowing any history is getting very common. PEoples are now obessed with their photographs uploading in their social media so that they can flaunt to others that they also visit that places. For that I think that way because everything is going on trend. Because of that in my prespectives it is negative because without knowing any history about that well-known spot may reflect our negligence.
Firstly, We do not know if that place have bad history or good. Sometimes our future generation may ask abouyt this places and if we can not talked about that it will eventually makes us stupid. Secondly, every tourtist places has its own positive and negative vibes. For examples, exploring each places and making videos or taking pictures and then uploading them without any accurate informates may shows disrespect to their cultures because if they said any random thing about that place and by any chance this post goes viral among the local they might think that they are making fun of their places and disturbance their peace.
Moreover, everyone should have the knowledge about the places they want to visit so that they can give that appropriate respect. The more you know the history behind the places, the more you can value their people and their land. However, if they follow this that might save them any awkwardness. They can talk to the local and make friendship to them so that they can get to know about the places and the nature of around the peoples.
In conclusion, taking pictures of the well-known places to keep that in memory is one thing but to know about the places is another thing. A person may attract about the places and the environment but when they get to know about their cultures and people then it will let them know about them more. And these of small things makes us to give importance about that more deeply.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the argument regarding 'future generations' asking about history is a bit speculative and lacks depth. While the response covers the requirements, the supporting points could be more sophisticated and better linked to the core issue of social media validation versus genuine cultural engagement. The ideas are relevant but remain at a somewhat superficial level throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a basic attempt at using cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Secondly', 'Moreover', and 'In conclusion'. However, the flow between sentences is occasionally mechanical, and some transitions are awkward, such as 'For that I think that way because everything is going on trend.' Referencing is sometimes unclear, particularly in the final paragraph where the pronoun 'them' is used ambiguously. While the overall progression is coherent, the use of cohesive devices lacks the flexibility and precision required for a higher band.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks range and precision. There are several instances of non-standard word choices or awkward phrasing, such as 'flaunt to others that they also visit that places' and 'accurate informates'. The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles with collocations (e.g., 'making friendship to them' instead of 'forming friendships with them'). While the meaning is generally clear, the lack of variety and the presence of errors in word formation prevent the response from reaching a higher band. The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the main points but is not sophisticated.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede the flow. Common issues include subject-verb agreement ('every tourtist places has'), article usage, and pluralization ('PEoples', 'that places'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, and some sentences are run-on or grammatically incomplete. While the student attempts complex structures, they are often marred by errors. The frequency of these errors is noticeable throughout the text, which limits the score for grammatical accuracy.
