Student answer (Band 6.0)
Technology is developing day by day. There is an ongoing trend on medias these days, visting the famous places and posting selfie in the social media rather than exploring at the place. There are several positive aspect related to this issue. Both the aspects are discussed below before stating my own opinion.
on the one hand, most people like to be a part of this trend and thats the main reason they visit these places and post their own pictures at this places insted of enjoying the this place fully. This is a trend of showcasing and it really influence the the peer group to visit thd place and be a part of this.
For example , A famous park named Bercy opened last week in dowtown Toronto and once a social media influncer shared his pictures in social media the park was crowed with thousand of people in the upcoming days, which gained the popularity of the park to the next level.
on the other hand, while the focusing the trend a shift in focus on the actual subject create discomfort among other visitors .
More or less, a serious privacy isuue was reported in the social media last week while a social media influncer started vloging at this park without respecting the privacy of other visitors. The issue was peaked while an old man stopping the influenvcer from taking his pictures without asking their concern.
Although this trend has a negative impact in some extend, I strongly believe this trend created a positive impact among the people and influence them to to visit new places and being a part of it.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development is somewhat uneven. The explanation for why people take photos is clear, but the discussion regarding whether it is positive or negative is less balanced. While you mention both sides, the argument for why it is a 'positive' trend is quite thin, relying on the assertion that it encourages people to visit new places without explaining why that is inherently beneficial. To reach a higher band, ensure that your arguments are fully extended with more logical depth and specific examples that directly support your stated position.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or repetitive. For instance, the transition 'on the one hand' and 'on the other hand' is used, but the internal flow within paragraphs is sometimes disjointed due to awkward phrasing. Referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'Both the aspects are discussed below', which feels slightly disconnected from the preceding sentences. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence flows naturally from the previous one would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There are several spelling errors, such as 'medias', 'visting', 'insted', 'thd', 'dowtown', 'influncer', and 'isuue'. These errors are frequent enough to be noticeable. Additionally, the word choice is often simplistic, such as 'gained the popularity of the park to the next level'. To improve, focus on using more sophisticated collocations and ensure you proofread for basic spelling mistakes, as these detract from the overall quality of your expression.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include missing articles ('at the place'), incorrect verb forms ('influence the the peer group'), and punctuation errors, such as missing spaces after commas and periods. Subject-verb agreement is also inconsistent, for example, 'the issue was peaked'. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors in basic grammar and punctuation limits the score. Focusing on sentence construction and proofreading for small grammatical slips will help you achieve a higher level of accuracy.
