Student answer (Band 5.0)
In the modern era, Today's generation is busy in the earning and learning phases. In the busy schedule, they don't have time for themselves. Most of the people explore new places and click photographs of themselves and did not enjoy the places. In my opinion, it is negative trend and i would like to explain in the following paragraphs.
First of all, Many of the people are employees or students. They don't have time for their families and themselves as well. They want to make memories as clicking photos and making videos, they want to enjoy their personal time. If they are visiting any places like parks, museums, forts and many more, they are start capturing it for uploading it on social media for taking views and be a famous personality among their friends.
In my point of view, it's a negative trend because many of them are busy

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0
The response is significantly under the required word count of 250 words, which severely limits your ability to develop your ideas. While you identify the trend as negative and attempt to explain why, the response is incomplete and stops abruptly in the second paragraph. You have not provided sufficient examples or a full explanation of the causes, nor have you fully explored the implications of the trend. To improve, you must ensure you address all parts of the prompt with fully developed arguments and reach the minimum word count to demonstrate your ability to sustain a coherent discussion.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay shows a basic attempt at paragraphing, but the structure is incomplete. The progression of ideas is hindered by the lack of development and the abrupt ending. Cohesive devices are used in a very limited and sometimes mechanical way, such as 'First of all' and 'In my point of view'. The lack of a concluding paragraph and the unfinished nature of the second paragraph make it difficult to follow a logical flow throughout the piece.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is basic and repetitive. You rely on simple phrases like 'busy schedule' and 'new places'. There are some inaccuracies in word choice, such as 'did not enjoy the places' instead of 'fail to appreciate their surroundings' and 'make memories as clicking photos'. To achieve a higher band, you need to use a wider range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items and more precise collocations related to the topic of tourism and social media behavior.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The response contains frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include 'Most of the people explore... and did not enjoy' (tense inconsistency), 'they are start capturing' (incorrect verb form), and 'as clicking photos' (preposition error). The sentence structures are mostly simple, with limited attempts at complex sentences. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with capitalization (e.g., 'Today's', 'First of all, Many'). You need to focus on subject-verb agreement, consistent verb tenses, and more varied sentence structures.
