Student answer (Band 5.5)

At present time, people perefer to go outside on popular places without knowing about the place for taking picture of them-self, their family and start making memories. I believe that , this is because of social life and this is positive trend. This easy will discuss reason and about its trend.

To begin with, people have hactique schedule and due to this they cannot spend time with their family members and cannot go for visiting new places. For instance, individuals hang out and take pictures with their family and capture memorable moments for long term. In addition, some people do vlogging and upload it on social media and earn money from social media plate-forms. This is the popular source of income in new generation.

Apart from this, I believe that this trend is positive. The people who are working 5 or 6 days a week they can not spent time with their near once. This is great opportunity for them to go outside and collecate memories. Taking pictures and recording videos are also a part of life. We can watch them after long time. For example, who like to make biography on that particular popular place is not only memorable for themselves but also the people who cannot visit that place, can see through social media.

In conclusion, vising new popular places are great chance for people who love travelling and taking photographs. They can share their happy moments with others and also can get to know about the famous place and their history.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the writer's opinion on whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media and busy schedules, the arguments lack depth and specific examples. For instance, the link between 'vlogging' and the trend is mentioned but not fully explored in relation to the prompt's focus on people not 'looking at the place'. The position is clear throughout, but the supporting points are somewhat repetitive and could be more thoroughly extended to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly inaccurate, such as 'This easy will discuss' (likely meant 'essay') and 'Apart from this'. Some transitions between sentences feel abrupt, and the logical progression within paragraphs is occasionally hindered by awkward phrasing. Referencing is sometimes unclear, making the flow of ideas feel a bit disjointed in places. Improving the variety and precision of linking words would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of word-choice errors and non-standard collocations, such as 'hactique schedule' (likely meant 'hectic'), 'collecate memories' (likely meant 'collect'), and 'near once' (likely meant 'near ones'). While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'vlogging' and 'social media platforms', the overall range is limited, and spelling errors occur frequently enough to occasionally distract the reader.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay uses a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('vising new popular places are'), incorrect verb forms ('they can not spent'), and missing articles or incorrect prepositions. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma placement. While the meaning is generally clear, the frequency of these errors means that the majority of sentences are not error-free. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and proofreading for common grammatical slips.
