Student answer (Band 5.5)
Nowadays, people like to visist lots of places just to take photos over there and upload on the social media apps like instagram and facebook rather than actually knowing about that place and why that place is famos?
I personally think that it is just happening recently because todays youth believe in show-off, individuals do not want to importance of spacific famos places, they just pick one beutiful and good cornet and only take photos and selfies just upload on the social media or show other people to how many places they visisted. In recent article in times of india they recorded in 2022 They seen 2 milion folks took photos with famos tajmahal in the agra, but on the other side guide who are working in tajmahal they noticed reducing number of visitors who are intrested to know about tajmahal's history.
To my point of view it is negative trend, that you are just visit specific place for the photography instead of that you have to enjoy that atmosphere, know about history, keep your phone away and enjoy live things because this is the only things you can memorice for years. I am not saying taking photos at beautiful place is wrong, but few photos would be okay, they invest your all time to know about place's infrastructure, tradition, locality and culture. It helps you to increase your knowledge as well as.
In conclusion, I just want to tell that people should reduce to take so much photos at well known places rather than enjoy live things.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the opinion on whether it is positive or negative. However, the development is somewhat limited. While you mention 'show-off' culture and provide an example regarding the Taj Mahal, the explanation remains superficial. The ideas are relevant but lack depth and academic support. To improve, you should expand on the psychological or social drivers behind this behavior, such as the 'fear of missing out' (FOMO) or the validation-seeking nature of digital platforms, rather than just stating that people like to show off. The position is clear, but the supporting arguments need more elaboration to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited and often mechanical. Phrases like 'To my point of view' and 'In conclusion' are used, but there is a lack of sophisticated linking words to connect ideas within paragraphs. For example, the transition between the reason for the trend and the evaluation of it is abrupt. Additionally, some sentences are run-on or lack proper punctuation, which disrupts the flow of information. Improving the variety of transition signals and ensuring each paragraph has a clear topic sentence would significantly enhance the coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher score. There are frequent spelling errors (e.g., 'visist', 'famos', 'spacific', 'beutiful', 'cornet', 'memorice') and some awkward collocations, such as 'folks took photos' or 'invest your all time'. While you attempt to use topic-specific vocabulary like 'infrastructure' and 'tradition', the overall range is limited to basic, everyday language. To improve, focus on learning more academic collocations and ensuring the correct spelling of common words, as these errors occasionally distract the reader from your message.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The essay relies heavily on simple sentence structures. While there are attempts at complex sentences, they are often marred by grammatical errors, such as 'individuals do not want to importance of spacific famos places' and 'guide who are working in tajmahal they noticed'. Subject-verb agreement and article usage (e.g., 'the tajmahal', 'the agra') are inconsistent. Punctuation is also a significant issue, with many sentences lacking proper terminal punctuation or using commas where periods are needed. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction and reducing the frequency of errors in tense and word order.
