Student answer (Band 6.0)
Nowadays, clicking photographs of every aspect of life is becoming a trend among individuals. Sometimes, instead of paying attention to the place where they are visiting, they just take photographs for fun or social media. However, these well known locations are the main purpose to show everyone our history, taking pictures of themselves on these locations is not a positive trend.
To commence with, mostly the youngsters are social media influencers and they always visit popular locations only for their social media content. To clarify, whenever individuals visit at famous places, they click images just to post it on social sites, without paying attention to know about the specialty of that site. Because they only need the picture of themselves just to post on their social accounts to influence others about their life.
Considering the issue this is happening due to a lack of knowledge about culture and tradition values. In brief, in this modern era most of the youngsters have lack of information about history values, because in education centers old culture is not a part of their curriculum, which leads them to have a little knowledge about tradition and values. Therefore, if these coming generation can learn more about historical places and their significance, then they will learn how they can motivate and connect others with well known place through social media. which also helps them to gain information regarding taking photographs is not the only reason to visit such popular places, they can also come to know about the features of that place.
All in all, Although it is a negative trend going on among the people of taking picture of themselves instead of getting information about these popular locations, it can be resolved by taking appropriate actions.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media influence and a lack of historical education, these points are not fully explored or supported with specific examples. The position is clear, but the argument lacks depth. To improve, ensure that each paragraph provides a more detailed explanation of the 'why' and 'how' behind your claims, moving beyond general statements to more nuanced analysis.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, and there is a clear progression of ideas. You use some cohesive devices, such as 'To commence with' and 'In brief', to link your points. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. For example, the final sentence of the second paragraph is quite long and slightly disjointed, which affects the overall coherence. Using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that each sentence logically follows the previous one will help improve the flow of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to convey your meaning clearly. You use some relevant terms like 'social media influencers', 'curriculum', and 'significance'. However, the range is somewhat limited, and there is some repetition of phrases such as 'well known locations' and 'take photographs'. To reach a higher band, try to incorporate more precise synonyms and collocations. For instance, instead of repeating 'take photographs', you could use 'document their experiences' or 'capture images'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While your meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'visit at famous places' (should be 'visit famous places') and 'have lack of information' (should be 'lack information'). Additionally, there are issues with article usage and subject-verb agreement, such as 'these coming generation'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they occur frequently enough to impact the overall accuracy of the text. Focusing on proofreading for these common slips will be beneficial.
