Student answer (Band 5.5)
Task-2.
Nowadays, natural spots are tour best tourist attractions for the people to explore. In present time, many of the people prefer to go to fat famous spots to take their pictures without knowing the exact locations. There are several reasons behind this, which give negative impacts on the people society, which I discussed in the upcoming paragraphs.
To begin with, visting popular places without getting much information give negative impact on society as it influenced by social media because people prefer to upload the images of their trip on it, for example, a person visit holy park on the vacation and upload the pictures of themselves only influence others to look be mean about their dress-up rather than purity of the place. Secondly, it also impact the holyness of the place by breaking the rules and regulation of that place, which will break the emotional connection of people with that place.
Moving further, visiting well-known places such as lakes, and mountains also spread fake news to the people as they seen their pictures. To exemplify, sometimes people saw the views of lakes and mountains in the background of someone's picture, which give them encourage to visit that breathtaking place. Therefore, without knowing the exact situation and view of that place, people prefer to go to there for cinematic view. It makes them to fall in tragic situation to follow.
In the conclusion, I would like to say without knowing the harsh reality of a place, just seeing their views in pictures make fall in risk to go over there for enjoying. Beside this, photographs from the influencers trap the teenagers to visit the place for the fame instead of exploring and getting the knowledge.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is limited. The explanation regarding social media influence is somewhat repetitive, and the argument about 'fake news' is not clearly linked to the prompt's focus on taking photographs without looking at the place. The position is clear, but the supporting examples, such as the 'holy park' or the 'tragic situation' of visiting, lack sufficient clarity and logical depth to fully satisfy the requirements for a higher band. The ideas remain somewhat superficial throughout the essay.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is often hindered by awkward phrasing and mechanical transitions. For example, the use of 'Moving further' and 'In the conclusion' is standard, but the internal logic within paragraphs is frequently disjointed. Referencing is sometimes unclear, such as in the second paragraph where the connection between 'dress-up' and the 'purity of the place' is difficult to follow. Cohesive devices are used, but they are often applied in a way that does not fully bridge the gap between the ideas presented.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary range is limited and often repetitive. There are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'natural spots are tour best tourist attractions', 'look be mean about their dress-up', and 'holyness of the place'. The term 'holyness' is non-standard; 'sanctity' would be more appropriate. The student relies on basic vocabulary and struggles to express more complex concepts precisely. While the meaning is generally conveyed, the lack of precision and the frequent errors in word choice prevent the essay from reaching a higher band in this criterion.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but the accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement issues ('many of the people prefer', 'it also impact'), incorrect article usage, and awkward sentence construction ('it makes them to fall in tragic situation to follow'). Punctuation is generally functional, but the overall control of grammar is weak. While the errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to be distracting and demonstrate a lack of control over more complex grammatical forms.
