Student answer (Band 6.0)
In recent years, there has been a growing trend towards people going to famous places for a photoshoot of themselves, without doing proper research about the location. While I believe this development has some drawbacks, I believe that it is a negative trend because without a proper information about a place can harm them unknowingly.
The main reason why i consider this trend to be negative is that it can harm the visitors who went to those places without any basic information. This is because sometimes there can be places and rules which you have to keep in mind. For instance, if you are visiting a historical museum, you are not allowed to touch any historical items, or you are not allowed to take any food items. Therefore, it can make you in trouble and also can make you pay for charges as well.
Another important reason is that sometimes you are not allowed to take photograph in some places as it is not allowed but without proper information, you start taking photographs. In other words, People on social media upload those pic by genertaing by AI built you thought that you can actually to take photographs. Furthermore, there can be some restrictions, such as you can't speak or can't wear footwear that make a loud noise such as heels. As a result you will be disrespecting them by not obeying there rules.
In conclusion, although some people think sudden plan are the best and can lead to make them explore more places instead of finding and searching for the best places to visit. I believe this topic is a negative trend because we have to check the rules of the specific place and also by searching about the places, we can get to know more about the places, which we can't get to know if we just visit without proper information.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for the trend and expressing a clear negative stance. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. The explanation regarding why people visit these places is thin, focusing almost exclusively on the lack of research rather than the underlying psychological or social motivations (e.g., social media validation). The arguments regarding the negative consequences are repetitive and rely on somewhat narrow examples, such as museum rules or footwear. To achieve a higher band, you should explore the broader societal implications of this trend more deeply and ensure your arguments are fully extended with more sophisticated reasoning.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear central topic. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'The main reason', 'Another important reason', and 'In conclusion', which help guide the reader. However, the flow within paragraphs is sometimes mechanical, and there are instances where referencing is unclear, such as the sentence 'People on social media upload those pic by genertaing by AI built you thought that you can actually to take photographs', which is difficult to follow and disrupts the logical progression of the argument. Improving the variety and precision of linking words would enhance the overall coherence.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision required for higher bands. There are several instances of awkward phrasing and word-choice errors, such as 'make you in trouble', 'pay for charges', and 'genertaing'. The use of vocabulary is often repetitive, and there is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic language. To improve, focus on learning collocations and ensuring that words are used in their correct grammatical context. Expanding your vocabulary related to tourism, social behavior, and technology would be beneficial.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but accuracy is inconsistent. There are frequent grammatical errors, including subject-verb agreement ('you are not allowed to take photograph'), article usage, and sentence construction ('without a proper information about a place can harm them'). Some sentences are poorly formed, which occasionally impedes the reader's understanding. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of errors prevents the response from reaching a higher band. You should focus on proofreading for basic errors and practicing the correct use of articles and prepositions.
