In recent years, more and more people are visiting are visiting the well-known places to take photographs of themselves, without looking at the place. It has considerable viewpoint worldwide. Although opinions differ on this statement. I partially agree with these statement. This essay will discuss the possible positive and negative trend of visiting well-known places to take photographs of themselves, without looking at the place.

There are multiple reason behind it. There are various people, who are doing such type of activities. As influenced by them, more and more people nowadays visit well-known places to get a picture of it. Some social media influences this activities.

On the one hand, there are some positive trend. It provides some opportunity to understand the different cultural entity throughout the different places. Moreover, it enhances the critical thinking ability, decision making power, and flexibility to live in different places. While taking photographs of the well-known places rather than looking at the place, it brings directly some popularity, if it is spreaded over the society.

On the other hand, it created some negative trend as well. It includes various bad ideas. Some people may think that they are wasting their time on such type of an activities. They might be thought that, if they are utilizing their time to do such productive activities, then they will definitely get some better result rather than doing such activities.

According to me, people have to schedule their time according to their daily lifestyle and routine, so that it may not alter their everyday life. For example, one of my friend, who is a social media influencer. He prioritize their daily work plan according to their ability to fulfill the need, which he wanted to achieve. So, doing such type of wise activity help him to live better life without affecting their personal life.

In conclusion, I believe that people have to visit well-known places to take photographs of themselves, without looking at the place, but it should be well organised plan to do so, and the advantages overweight the disadvantages as mentioned earlier.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

The response addresses both parts of the prompt, identifying reasons for the trend and discussing whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is limited. For instance, the explanation of why people take photos without looking at the place is vague, relying on general statements about social media influence rather than specific analysis. The arguments regarding the positive and negative aspects are somewhat repetitive and lack depth. While a position is stated, the supporting points are not fully extended, leading to a somewhat superficial treatment of the topic. To improve, you should provide more concrete examples and explain the 'why' behind your arguments more thoroughly.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The essay is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the structure. However, the progression of ideas is sometimes disjointed. The use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or inaccurate, such as 'It has considerable viewpoint worldwide' or 'While taking photographs... it brings directly some popularity'. Some transitions feel forced, and the relationship between sentences is not always clear. The conclusion is also slightly confusing, as it suggests the advantages outweigh the disadvantages without clearly summarising the previous points. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words will help create a smoother flow between your ideas.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

The vocabulary is generally adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for higher bands. There is frequent repetition of phrases like 'well-known places', 'take photographs of themselves', and 'without looking at the place'. Some word choices are unnatural or incorrect, such as 'spreaded' (should be 'spread') and 'cultural entity' (which does not fit the context). You rely on basic vocabulary and struggle to use less common items effectively. To improve, focus on learning synonyms and collocations related to tourism, social media, and personal habits to avoid repetitive phrasing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors that occasionally impede clarity. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('one of my friend', 'he prioritize'), incorrect verb forms ('spreaded'), and awkward phrasing ('There are various people, who are doing such type of activities'). Punctuation is generally acceptable, but the sentence construction is often clunky. While you attempt complex sentences, they are frequently marred by errors. Focusing on basic grammatical accuracy, particularly subject-verb agreement and verb tense consistency, will significantly improve your score.
