Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media and the desire for 'views and comments' as reasons, the explanation remains quite superficial. Similarly, the discussion on the negative impact focuses primarily on time and money, but could be deepened by exploring the psychological or cultural implications of failing to engage with the environment. The position is clear throughout, but the supporting arguments lack the depth and specific, well-developed examples required for a higher band score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with a clear introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'On the one hand,' 'On the other hand,' and 'Moreover' to signal shifts in your argument. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes mechanical, and the use of referencing is occasionally repetitive. For instance, the transition between the reasons for the trend and the negative impacts could be smoother. Paragraphing is used appropriately, but the internal cohesion within paragraphs could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and better pronoun referencing to avoid repetitive sentence structures.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the range and precision needed for a higher score. You rely on common, everyday language such as 'take photos,' 'good,' and 'expensive.' While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'social media' and 'historical places,' there is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic expressions. There are also some minor errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'take views' instead of 'gain views' or 'get likes.' To improve, try to incorporate more sophisticated synonyms and precise collocations related to tourism and digital behavior.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'many historical places has enterance fee') and punctuation (e.g., 'In moder world, People'). There are also issues with article usage and sentence fragments. While these errors do not significantly impede communication, they are persistent throughout the text. To reach a higher band, you should focus on increasing the accuracy of your complex sentences and ensuring that basic grammatical rules, such as pluralization and verb tense consistency, are applied correctly.
