Student answer (Band 5.0)

I would like to about latest trend is social media. According to me i am going with people thing this is there happiness. I want share my thoughts actually i am photo lover person whenever i went for our group trip or any date with hubby i always did click photos first and then i enjoyed the most. Otherwise i didn't happy i have had not any trip without my photoshoot. So I thing everyone should collect the memory for there good time. But That dosen't mean that never see that place or everything. This is the trad to collect memory that post in their social media like instagram whatsapp and make reels for blog. I also accept the second thing like positive or negative trend. Some time this social media creat a negative for people. My sister had instagram account and some reason some person heck her account and that situation made trubble for family member. and they also want to her photo for bad thing. But he didn't so that type of use. I know it has positive or negative both but make sure your safety first and then another all thing. I thought person have to do collect memory but never post bikini photos on their social media its very high chance to hack or use bad thing. So everyone focus on that main thing and try to understad to their parents thing

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.5

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 250 words, which negatively impacts the task achievement score. While you address the reasons for the trend and offer an opinion on whether it is positive or negative, the development of these ideas is limited and lacks depth. The arguments are somewhat personal and anecdotal rather than analytical. To improve, you should expand on the broader societal implications of this trend—such as the impact on tourism or human psychology—rather than focusing primarily on personal experiences. Additionally, ensure all parts of the prompt are addressed with sufficient detail to meet the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The essay lacks a clear structure. There is no formal introduction or conclusion, and the paragraphing is inconsistent, making it difficult to follow the progression of your argument. You rely on very basic linking words, and the transition between ideas is often abrupt. For example, the shift from discussing photo-taking to the negative aspects of social media is disjointed. To improve, use clear topic sentences for each paragraph and employ a wider range of cohesive devices (e.g., 'furthermore', 'consequently', 'in contrast') to connect your thoughts logically and improve the flow of the text.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is quite limited and repetitive, relying on basic terms like 'good time', 'bad thing', and 'photo lover'. There are several instances of word-choice errors, such as 'trad' instead of 'trend', 'heck' instead of 'hack', and 'trubble' instead of 'trouble'. These errors occasionally impede the reader's understanding. To achieve a higher band score, you need to use a more varied range of vocabulary, including less common lexical items and more precise collocations related to the topic of technology, tourism, and social media behavior.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The essay contains frequent grammatical errors that affect the clarity of your writing. Issues include incorrect verb tenses ('I didn't happy'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence fragments ('I would like to about latest trend'). There is a lack of complex sentence structures, and the punctuation is inconsistent, particularly with capitalization and sentence boundaries. To improve, focus on mastering basic sentence construction, ensuring that every sentence has a clear subject and verb, and proofreading for common errors in tense and word form.
