Student answer (Band 6.0)
A number of people in these days, travel to recognized places and like to click photographs of their own and majorly miss the look around moments. The trend of uploading content on social sites and sometimes collecting memories to look on after a while are the reasons behind it and generally it a mixed approach.
The prominent reason of people being photogenic instead of explorer on their trips is the trend of making social media content. The likes and follows on the internet encourage the travelers to shoot from the camera eye. Another prospective of this happening is the collection of memorable moments to look on after years or so. For Instance, to remember about our childhood or the family trip years ago, the camera visuals help us to bring the exact scenes in front of us and give us joy.
Thinking about this trend as positive or negative is an individual choice and simply a mixed one. It might be positive on the basis of making content and considering it as a hobby but also negative because of missing out the original and live views of surroundings. For example, If someone traveled to Shimla, and without experiencing nature, come back home just with the photographs, can see the hills and trees through the captured visuals but cannot feel that peace and silence of that place.
To conclude, the social media appreciation and grace always impulse the creators to always look through the camera and in that way sometimes, people forget to live the moment on the particular place. People should take the pictures but only after enjoying the view on the priority basis.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and whether it is positive or negative. The ideas are relevant, such as the influence of social media and the desire to preserve memories. However, the development is somewhat limited. The explanation of why it is a 'mixed' trend is a bit superficial, and the example of Shimla is a good start but could have been expanded to better illustrate the psychological impact of this behavior. To reach a higher band, ensure that each point is fully explored with more depth and nuance.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, with an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. There is a clear progression of ideas. Cohesive devices are used, such as 'Another prospective', 'For Instance', and 'To conclude', though some transitions feel slightly mechanical. The referencing is generally clear, although the opening sentence is a bit clunky, which slightly affects the flow. Overall, the structure is coherent and easy to follow, meeting the requirements for a band 6 or 7 level.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing the writer to convey their meaning clearly. There are some attempts at less common vocabulary, such as 'photogenic' and 'appreciation', but there are also some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'majorly miss the look around moments' and 'impulse the creators'. These errors do not impede communication, but they do limit the precision of the writing. Expanding the range of collocations and using more precise academic vocabulary would improve the score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are frequent grammatical errors, such as 'A number of people in these days', 'generally it a mixed approach', and 'on the priority basis'. Punctuation is also inconsistent, particularly with comma usage. The errors are noticeable and occur throughout the text, though they rarely prevent the reader from understanding the intended message. More attention to subject-verb agreement and article usage is needed to improve accuracy.
