Student answer (Band 6.0)
Recently observed that continuously increase in number of people who visit the famous places to click their own pictures instead of exploring that places because they priorities show off of uploading that pictures on their social media accounts rather then enjoy the beauty of that place. I believe this is a negative trend because it misleads the generation. Both the aspects the reasons behind this tren and its negative effects justified in the ensuing paragraphs with valid reasons and appropriate examples.
The main reason behind this situation is a show off on socialmedia. People nowadays fascinated by the social media posts. They feel pride and confidence after posting attractive pictures on their socialmedia accounts. Creative and unique photos of the trips create popularity and high status among the friendship group. As a resut people concentrate on creativity of pictures rather then exploring the authenticity, beauty and history of thet place. For instanse, nowadays majority of people upload their pictures on instagram, facebook etc. and give the updates of their trip by puting storys on such apps.
This trend creates negetive mindset among citizens. It implies that photos are more essential than exploring the beauty of the place. Visiting place or trips are the activities which make human mind calm and provide them peace. people can get relaxsession when they feel the vibes of the place but visitors are busy in capturing photos. Its not real meaning of the trip. people can not fully enjoy the trip. To illustrate, many people prohibited the phone and decided to stay without phone to enjoy the journey and trips more.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the opinion on whether it is positive or negative. The position is clear from the introduction. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. While you mention social media as a driver, the explanation remains repetitive, focusing heavily on 'show off' without exploring deeper psychological or societal factors. The arguments are relevant but lack depth and specific, well-developed examples. To improve, ensure each paragraph provides a more nuanced analysis rather than restating the same point in different ways.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The essay is organized into logical paragraphs, each with a clear focus. There is a basic progression of ideas from the introduction to the reasons, the negative effects, and the conclusion. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate (e.g., 'As a resut', 'To illustrate'). Referencing is sometimes unclear, and the flow between sentences could be smoother. The transition between the idea of 'show off' and the 'negative mindset' is abrupt. Improving the variety and accuracy of linking words would help the essay flow more naturally.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks the precision and range required for a higher band. There is frequent repetition of basic terms like 'pictures', 'place', and 'negative'. Some word choices are unnatural or incorrect, such as 'relaxsession' (relaxation) and 'puting storys'. While you attempt to use some topic-specific vocabulary like 'authenticity' and 'popularity', the overall range is limited. To achieve a higher score, focus on using more sophisticated synonyms and ensuring correct collocations, such as 'curating a digital persona' instead of 'show off'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The essay contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Issues include missing articles ('at the famous place'), incorrect verb forms ('people prohibited the phone'), and subject-verb agreement errors ('Both the aspects... justified'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with several run-on sentences and missing commas. While the meaning is generally clear, these persistent errors interfere with the fluency of the text. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for common errors like missing articles would significantly improve your score.
