Student answer (Band 5.0)
In this modern era , people went to most famous places to take photographs of their own without even watching the places because people believe to make memory and capture everything first and than posting on social platforms like instagram or snapchat Because they want to show their personality and moreover it is trend these days to post asthtiec pictures.
However, In my opinion it is a partially negative trend because they are just following a trend they not living that moment that time no doubt they are capturing they will relive that moments throught the phones but the would never know the real moment of that place they will not able to get the information or knowledge regarding the place I would like to give real example few years ago me and me some close friends visit taj mahal which is in india and well known historic place when we visit there we hire guide tour who will tell us about history behind historic place and than he start explaning everything it is made of precious marbel and shah jhan made for his wife and after that shah jhan cut hands of his workers so that they can not make the same like this and one of my friend her name is deepika she was busy in clicking every corner of taj mahal she was clicking pictures of four pillars and so and so and tour guide show us river besides taj mahal she missed everything just because she want to capture the moments.
In conclusion, I would like to say capturing the moments taking photographs is not bad thing everyone should enjoy view or moments as well.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the opinion on whether it is positive or negative. However, the development of ideas is limited. The explanation for why this happens is brief, focusing primarily on social media validation. The argument regarding the negative impact is supported by a personal anecdote about visiting the Taj Mahal, which is relevant but lacks broader analysis. The position is clear, but the essay would benefit from more depth and a more formal tone to fully explore the implications of this trend beyond a single personal experience.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0
The essay is divided into three paragraphs, but the structure is weak. There is a lack of effective cohesive devices; sentences are often run-on or lack logical transitions, such as the transition between the reasons for the trend and the personal example. The use of punctuation is inconsistent, with many missing full stops, which makes the flow of ideas difficult to follow. While there is a basic attempt at paragraphing, the internal cohesion within paragraphs is mechanical and often confusing, hindering the reader's ability to track the argument.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.0
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks range and precision. There are several spelling errors, such as 'asthtiec' (aesthetic), 'marbel' (marble), and 'throught' (through). The word choice is often repetitive, and the student relies on basic phrasing. There is little evidence of less common lexical items or idiomatic expressions. To improve, the student should focus on using more varied vocabulary related to tourism, social media, and cultural experiences, and pay closer attention to accurate spelling and word formation.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0
The grammatical range is limited, consisting mostly of simple sentences and some attempts at complex structures that are often grammatically incorrect. There are frequent errors in verb tense (e.g., 'people went to most famous places' instead of 'people go'), subject-verb agreement, and sentence structure. Many sentences are run-on, lacking necessary punctuation to separate independent clauses. These errors are frequent and occasionally impede the clarity of the message. A greater focus on sentence boundaries and consistent verb tense usage is required to reach a higher band.
