Numerous individuals are going to famous locations to click photos of themselves, rather than admiring the places. This is a side-effect of a social media. This essay will explain the poistive effects of this trend as locals are getting business from the tourists and the historical building are getting funds from public by selling tickets.

To begin with, individuals are seeking online affection from their followers. One of the ways is posting the pictures of themselves, which are taken on famous tourist destinations to keep themselves present onlone. The individuals are following online trends and trying to show off others their vacations to impress others. For example, if one celebrity posted a pictures of himself on the popular place, then young people will try to recreate the pose on the same spot without knowing the histroy of the buliding or place. Therefore, the egarness to be present on the soical media with latest famous destination is causing this surge.

This positive trend is benefiting the locals. This is because when a number of people visiting the destination, they also spend a lot of money in a local shops. Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The response addresses both parts of the prompt: the reasons for the trend and the evaluation of whether it is positive or negative. However, the development is somewhat limited. While you identify social media validation as a reason, the explanation could be more nuanced. Regarding the positive/negative aspect, you argue it is positive due to economic benefits. However, the prompt asks for your opinion, and you have focused almost exclusively on the economic side while ignoring the potential negative cultural or personal impacts of 'not looking at the place.' To reach a higher band, you should provide a more balanced discussion or a more robust justification for your specific stance.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The essay is logically organized with a clear introduction, body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the reasons from the evaluation. Cohesive devices such as 'To begin with,' 'Therefore,' and 'In conclusion' are used to guide the reader. However, some transitions feel a bit mechanical, and there are occasional issues with referencing, such as 'This is a side-effect of a social media,' where the article 'a' is unnecessary. The progression of ideas is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words beyond simple connectors.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using terms like 'validation,' 'recreate,' and 'financial aid.' However, there are several spelling errors ('poistive,' 'onlone,' 'histroy,' 'buliding,' 'egarness,' 'soical,' 'visiters') and minor word choice inaccuracies, such as 'click photos' (take photos is more natural) and 'keep the building stand' (keep the building standing). These errors are noticeable but do not prevent the reader from understanding your message. To improve, focus on proofreading for common spelling mistakes and expanding your use of collocations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The essay uses a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While you attempt complex sentences, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation, such as missing articles ('a social media,' 'the historical building are'), subject-verb agreement issues ('building are getting'), and awkward phrasing ('show off others their vacations'). Despite these errors, the meaning remains clear throughout the response. To move to a higher band, you need to increase the frequency of error-free sentences and pay closer attention to basic grammatical rules like pluralization and article usage.
